Next-Generation

EFFICIENCY AND GROWTH The Next-Generation 737 provides our airline customers with superior reliability, fuel efficiency and high-value returns operators require in today’s competitive market. We will continue to provide this level of performance and quality as we transition to the 737 MAX. The popularity of the Next-Generation 737, combined with new innovation, launched our 737 MAX Family. With more than 5,000 orders, the 737 MAX is the fastest-selling airplane in Boeing’s history.

BEAUTIFUL ON THE INSIDE Inner beauty? 737 MAX has it, with the innovative Boeing Sky Interior — a design utilizing modernsculpted sidewalls, customizable LED lighting, and other improvements to both form and function.

STYLISH NEW WINGLETS 737 MAX’s AT winglets have a new aerofoil pointing downward– creating a “>” shape. There is no metal visible on the leading edge because of special materials and coatings that enable natural laminar flow.

BIGGER, BETTER ENGINE 737 MAX is built with the new CFM LEAP1B engine. Look for: Carbon fiber fan blades with a titanium leading edge, chevrons at the rear of the engine casing and a larger engine that sits higher up and farther forward on the wing.

High-volume routes demand high-value returns. The First Class and Business Class sections of the 747-8 enable airlines to offer passengers the most private and premium accommodations in the sky. So it’s no surprise that on high-volume routes the 747-8 offers premium revenue potential. And with more than 400 seats available, this new 747 creates a unique opportunity to maximize the bottom-line potential of any high-volume route. It’s premium value, delivered, for operators and passengers. That’s a better way to fly.

High-volume routes demand high-value returns. 747-8 was destined to be the first extended 747 to reach production stage. The 747-8 and the reduced 747SP are the only modifications to the 747 Series with the modified fuselage. The 747-8 had to use the same engines and cab layout as the Boeing 787, including General Electric GEnx turbofan and partially fly-by-wire digital control. Boeing said the new design would be quieter, more economical, and more environmentally friendly than previous 747 versions. Boeing confirmed the 747-8F configuration in October 2006

ARHITECTURAL FEATURES The Boeing 747-8 is 5.6 meters longer than its direct predecessor, the Boeing 747-400, making it the longest passenger airplane in the world. It has up to 262 seats distributed in various configurations throughout First, Business, Premium Economy and Economy Class.

Now’s the perfect time to extend your success. The Boeing 777’s unique combination of superior range, outstanding fuel efficiency and passenger-preferred comfort has created longrange success for carriers around the world. And the 777-300ER now gives operators a perfect opportunity to extend that success. Recent upgrades further reduce costs and boost revenue, and the 777’s flying experience is still number one with passengers. A more profitable fleet and more satisfied passengers. That’s a better way to fly.

ENGINE Designed specifically for the Boeing 777 aircraft, the GE90 is the world’s most powerful turbofan engine. In 1995, the GE90 engine debuted aboard a British Airways 777 airplane along with commercial aviation’s first-ever carbon-fiber composite fan blades I t is one of three options for the 777-200, -200ER, and -300 versions, and the exclusive engine of the -200LR, -300ER, and 777F. It was the world’s largest and most powerful jet engine, until its 6 in (15 cm) wider fan successor, the 105,000 lbf (470 kN) GE9X, powered the Boeing 777X first flight in January 2020

INTERIOR The original 777 interior, also known as the Boeing Signature Interior, features curved panels, larger overhead bins, and indirect lighting.[70] Seating options range from four[153] to six abreast in first class up to ten abreast in economy.[154] The 777’s windows were the largest of any current commercial airliner until the 787, and measure 15-inch (380 mm) by 10-inch (250 mm) in size (all models outside the 777-8 and -9).[155] The cabin also features “Flexibility Zones”, which entails deliberate placement of water, electrical, pneumatic, and other connection points throughout the interior space, allowing airlines to move seats, galleys, and lavatories quickly and more easily when adjusting cabin arrangements.[154] Several aircraft have also been fitted with VIP interiors for non-airline use.[156] Boeing designed a hydraulically damped toilet seat cover hinge that closes slowly

ABOUT THE AIRBUS BRAND The Airbus Brand is not just a sign, a logo or a colour, nor the advertising we do. While these are elements of a brand, an actual brand – our Brand is something much bigger and more valuable. It’s the image and reputation of the entire company. It is the reason why people choose us. It represents our ambition, performance, culture, personality, products and services and the way these are delivered. It is the sum of all the experiences people have of us.

A220

BUILT-IN EFFICIENCY The smallest jetliner in Airbus’ in-production product line, the A220-100, was built from the ground up to serve the 100-135 seat market with unbeatable efficiency and comfort. With broad seats, plenty of overhead storage space and large windows, it’s a single-aisle aircraft that feels like a wide-body jet. The extensive use of advanced aluminium in the fuselage – along with advanced composites in the wings, empennage and rear fuselage – reduces weight and increases corrosion resistance, resulting in better efficiency and maintainability. These modern materials make up more than 40% of the aircraft’s primary structure, delivering weight savings for reduced fuel burn, with an accompanying reduction of CO2 and NOx emissions.

Powered by Pratt & Whitney PurePower PW1500G geared turbofan engines specifically designed for the family, the A220-100 can connect distant airports with its 2,950 nm range and best-in-class airfield performance. Using a takeoff field length as short as 1,460 metres, the A220 Family is ideal for hot-and-high and city-centre airport operations. In fact, the A220100 is the largest aircraft able to operate in the constrained environment of London City Airport. From such challenging airports, the A220 Family’s performance and efficiency give it a built-in advantage.

Passenger comfort In addition to delivering best-in-class economics, the A220 Family’s cabin was purpose-built to deliver an exceptional passenger experience. A220 Family aircraft are recognised for their low noise levels, providing a quiet and comfortable cabin.Wide seats combined with ample overhead storage create personal space without compromising on headroom, and the cabin management system provides crews with easy, intuitive control of the aircraft’s interior environment, including entertainment offerings and mood lighting.Like the larger A220-300 version, the A220-100’s configurable cabin provides two flex zones, allowing operators to benefit from fully customisable modular cabin elements, including stowage areas and partitions, based on their specific needs.
