We are expanding our work in Sudan at a critical time for the country by providing technical assistance and support to facilitators and participants in political dialogue processes.

Responsibilities
• Manage the conceptual and methodological design of the program.
• Lead and coordinate the implementation of program activities.
• Contribute to the implementation of specific activities, including research, development of products, engagement, and outreach.
• Coordinate and contribute to political and program analysis – including for example scenario, network, and mapping analyses.
• Produce and track work plans for the various streams of work.
• Lead debrief sessions following activities.
• Prepare content for and participate in briefings to supporting partners.
• Prepare content for and participate in briefings and presentations at practitioner events.
• Provide inputs to, review and approve ADMEL plans and methods for program activities.
• Coordinate the development of monitoring plans.
• Oversee and manage the conduct of ADMEL activities which will be undertaken primarily by the Monitoring and Reporting Specialist.
• Coordinate with the Sudan Program Team Lead to agree timelines for reporting, and review inputs to donor reports.
• Manage specific colleagues within the Sudan Program Team, including the Monitoring and Reporting Specialist, Gender Analysis Consultant, Program Associate (Analysis) etc.
• Manage the recruitment of colleagues for the above-mentioned roles or other relevant short-term consultancies.
• Manage activities related to the relevant registrations for the organization with national authorities. In this regard the Senior Program Manager will work closely with the Executive Director and Sudan Program Team Leader.
In addition to tasks in these areas, the Senior Program Manager will have any additional duties and responsibilities that will be agreed between Conflict Dynamics and the Senior Program Manager.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for an exceptional individual, with the motivation, skills, and characteristics to excel in this exciting new role.
Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
• Minimum 10 years’ progressive experience working in politics, policy, governance/peacebuilding or a related field with direct field experience and experience engaging with Sudanese civic and political leaders highly desirable.
• A university degree in political science; history; conflict studies; international relations; or related political- or social science field.
• Knowledge of the political, economic, or socio-cultural situation in Sudan.
• Knowledge and understanding of project management tools.
• Experience of managing staff and consultants in an outcome-oriented program.
• Experience managing complex grants from large institutional donors.
