In particular over the coming months we expect to establish a presence in the USA to help build our work in the Americas more broadly. The Research Manager, Americas will support the USA hub in leading and developing the research and project coordination team.

Managing a team of researchers and project coordinators across the Americas region to ensure all search projects are completed to an excellent standard and clients and candidates receive a world class service.
Reporting Lines: Reporting to the Managing Director, Americas, and with a dotted line to the Research Director (based in the UK), who is responsible for quality, training and policy across all global searches.
Manages associates, researchers and project coordinators.
Working closely with associates and consultants globally.
Profile Summary
This is a new role, to help us develop a more locally focused research team in each of our regional hubs.
Oxford HR is undergoing a period of rapid growth through the establishment of hubs over the past three years in Nairobi, Amsterdam and most recently Singapore in addition to its founding base in Oxford, UK. We employ around 40 people with a similar number working as Associates or freelancers for us and have over 90 people in our current community, double the size of twelve months ago and likely to double again in the coming year.
We want to have researchers who are closely linked into the industry sectors we work in, able to develop a deep knowledge of the communities of talent available within those regions. So, we’re looking for people who are committed and passionate about those sectors, which include climate and conservation, health, education, trade and economic development among others.
The research manager is the person responsible for managing all the ongoing recruitment search projects in that region, ensuring that our clients are finding the best possible candidates for their leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
Internal facing
• Managing a small and growing team of researchers working remotely and locally, across a large geographical region working on recruitment projects
• Developing in conjunction with the research director and HR lead a training and development plan to ensure the research team are fully equipped to carry out their tasks to the highest of standards
• Helping the Regional Directors prepare for new projects, including support in pitches where appropriate
• Helping co-ordinate and communicate our work across the wider business and collaborate with other RMs in the business to build search teams for global projects
External facing
• Ensuring clients are properly supported throughout the search process
• Contribute to external events, conferences, workshops and debates virtually and in person to promote our work
Person Specification and Qualifications
Essential:
• Strong, demonstrable experience in executive search research
• A strong, demonstrable interest in the for-purpose sector
• Experience in supervision and management of staff
• Highly developed project management skills, utilizing appropriate platforms / technologies
Desirable:
• Experience of working successfully in a fast-growing SME
• Academic qualifications that support the ability to carry out research projects
