WARM WELCOME Whether you want to get together with others to help your neighbor, improve your neighborhood or just socialize, the L-O-U area has an organization for you. And for you newcomers, the Oxford Newcomers’ Club has been helping new residents adapt to their new community since 1999. The purpose of the club is to offer people, who have relocated to Oxford or Lafayette County an opportunity to learn about their new community, meet new people, make new friends and join in a variety of activities for every interest. The club year runs from September 1 - August 31. Most activities and special events are offered throughout the year. Annual dues are $15 per person. The Oxford Newcomers’ Club offers various groups and activities that reflect the talent and interests of its membership.

Annual parties include the Kick-Off in September, Pot Luck Thanksgiving, Christmas Dinner, Valentine’s Day appetizers, and a YearEnd Bash.
