ON THE COVER
This is the FOOD issue of Oxford Magazine where we celebrate the variety, quality and the places we dine in Oxford. We dedicate this issue to all the essential food and restaurant workers who weathered the past year’s pandemic shut downs and limited capacity. We appreciate your dedication and perseverance to preserve the food culture that Oxford enjoys. Also new this issue is the introduction of The Oxford Food Trail. We all know that Oxford is a Foodies delight, and the Oxford Food Trail showcases great spots that you may know and some new places to discover. The Oxford Food Trail profiles of the most iconic restaurants and eateries in Oxford. This is more than just Oxford Magazine feature, but also will be online at www. oxfordfoodtrail.com to help point visitors from the outside to make stops along the Oxford Food Trail as they discover what is special to eat here. Plus, this issue we feature gourmet food available at the new Johnston’s Creamery, LB Meats, Chickory Market and R&R Cookies. And you get a sneak-peak at the largest outdoor restaurant to open in Oxford, Lamar Yard with a grove like experience every day. This is the first month in a year that the Events Guide and the Spotted Gallery feels back to normal. You will find the things to do on the Guide and several past event photo galleries from the Oxford Film Fest, Food Truck Rodeo and Night Market. Get out and eat!
