We all know that Oxford is a Foodies delight, and the Oxford Food Trail showcases great spots that you may know and some new places to discover. The Oxford Food Trail profi les of the most iconic restaurants and eateries in Oxford. This is more than just Oxford Magazine feature, but also will be online at www. oxfordfoodtrail.com to help point visitors from the outside to make stops along the Oxford Food Trail as they discover what is special to eat here. Plus, this issue we feature gourmet food available at the new Johnston’s Creamery, LB Meats, Chickory Market and R&R Cookies. And you get a sneak-peak at the largest outdoor restaurant to open in Oxford, Lamar Yard with a grove like experience every day. This is the fi rst month in a year that the Events Guide and the Spotted Gallery feels back to normal. You will fi nd the things to do on the Guide and several past event photo galleries from the Oxford Film Fest, Food Truck Rodeo and Night Market. Get out and eat!

Destination Oxford Car Show

9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

The Destination Oxford Cruise & Car Show will be pulling back into the downtown Oxford Square on May 15, 2021. Cars will be displayed in several lots around the north side of the Square. Free event.

World Championship Old Time Piano Playing Contest and Festival – Virtual

A decision has been made to postpone the Junior, Regular & Senior Division Contests until May, 2022. It is simply not feasible to hold these events given the present health pandemic. The University of Mississippi safety protocols prohibit a live audience at this time. The Contest personnel have agreed to host a virtual New Rag Contest under modified rules on Memorial Day weekend, 2021 in addition to a noncompetitive Junior Showcase for those competitors ages 17-and-under. http:// oldtimepianocontest.com/
