Buildbase Kawasaki ready for action in 2010! The team is pleased to announce their 2010 British Superbike line-up with John Laverty being partnered by Adam Jenkinson. Laverty is delighted to be staying with the team in which he rocketed to podium contention in 2009: With all the data from 2009 we should be challenging for the podium from the start”. Adams is clearly delighted to join the team after a strong season in the National Superstock 1000 class, where he took numerous podiums and a win at Silverstone: “After joining the team for the Sunflower meeting in October, there was only one place I wanted to be in 2010 and here I am!”. OXFORD TAG Triumph announces plans for 2010 racing season… After establishing themselves as a professional and competitive team in the British Supersport Paddock in 2009, OXFORD TAG Triumph are pleased to be entering their second year of competition with full Factory Support from Triumph motorcycles. This partnership enables the team to compete in both the British Supersport and Junior Superstock Championship in 2010. Spearheading the 2010 British Supersport campaign for OXFORD TAG Triumph will be the team’s new signing, former Australian Supersport Champion and Superbike runner up Jason O’Halloran. He will be partnering Triumph factory test rider and experienced Triumph Daytona 675 campaigner Paul Young. In addition to this top flight Supersport line-up, the team will continue to show a commitment to fostering new young talent in the form of the OXFORD TAG Triumph junior team. This comprises Shaun Winfield contesting the Supersport Cup, Ross Ashman the Superstock Championship and two bikes and riders in the GP125 class.

LIVING THE DREAM WITH BRADLEY SMITH AND OXFORD PRODUCTS! Nineteen year old Bradley Smith embarks on his 2010 World Championship winning campaign with the full support and backing of Oxford Products and their customers. Everybody connected with Oxford Products is totally committed to supporting the Oxfordshire teenager as he strives to become the first British rider to win a solo Grand Prix World title since the late great Barry Sheene 33 year ago. Last year Smith, with the backing of Oxford Products, came close to re-writing the history books that have been devoid of British success for almost three decades. He eventually finished second in the 125 cc World Championship behind his Aspar team-mate Julian Simon. Smith won two grands prix and secured six successive podium finishes at the end of the season to finish second in the World Championship. The last British solo rider to finish second in any World Championship class was Sheene in 1978. In 2010 with the continued backing of Oxford Products, Smith remains in the highly competitive 125 cc class with the Spanish-based Aspar team. TRULY GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP ARENA The 17 round 125 cc World Championship is a truly global sporting arena. In eight frenzied months the Championship visits 14 separate countries on four continents. Last year the 17 round Championship attracted an average weekend crowd of 134,546 fans. Two hundred and seven countries received the live television feed from each grand prix. The official Championship website received over 49 million visitors while over 10,000 journalists from 53 counties were accredited throughout the year. Smith’s 2010 campaign starts under the Qatar floodlights on April 11 and finishes in November at Valencia in Spain.
