From the Sixties up till today, our common thread has traditionally been steel, combined with a variety of materials to interpret contemporary design concepts that blend craftsmanship and industrial production. Arrmet’s initial curious and innovative nature has produced sustainable, long-lasting chairs and tables for indoor and outdoor use, paying attention to market demands, creating unmistakeable, one-off collections in a story where ideas become chairs and chairs become experience.

From its foundation in 1960, Arrmet has been ahead of its times, using steel to manufacture furniture for communities. Those were the days when Arrmet was taking its first steps in tube bending using the “sand filling” method, producing seats, benches and furnishing accessories for schools. Those were the days when the company’s industrial slant, present from the very start, enabled it to enter the naval supply market, a sector that already favoured steel as a modern, reliable material. When Italy’s “Chair Triangle” was already an international hub producing chairs and furniture made of wood, Arrmet, firmly based on its founders’ avant-garde thinking, was offering a product that was different, original and full of technology and design, which gradually found an outlet, not only on the community, but also on the residential and hospitality markets.

They are the work of 17 designers, in collaboration with our R&D department, which works daily on the design and study of the functionality and the quality of our products, despatched directly from our own warehouse. Each phase of manufacture is undertaken with care, from the constant interface with our internal and external partners, to the industrial or craft work processes, to shipment. Our products are created with the assistance of skilled craftsmen and the process is constantly monitored to achieve maximum satisfaction for the end client.

B32 shell, in shiny nylon or transparent polycarbonate, can be combined with a variety of structures for the armchair: chromed or painted steel 4-legs or sled frames, swiveling polished or varnished aluminium bases and natural solid ash frames. The swiveling and height-adjustable stool is provided with brushed stainless steel base and chromed footrest. All products of the collection can be completed and made even more comfortable thanks to the fixed cushion, available in various colours of fabric, eco-leather or genuine leather.

Le due fasce che compongono lo schienale avvolgono un sedile tondo e ben imbottito e svolgono due importanti funzioni: appoggio lombare e braccioli. È così che estetica e funzionalità si uniscono in un progetto adatto ad ogni tipo di ambiente: dalla casa, all’ospitalità, all’ufficio.
EN. Dam is a collection of padded seats for indoor use. The upholstered elements rest on swivelling bases made of polished or painted aluminium, with or without swivelling wheels, for the armchair version. The swiveling and height-adjustable stool is provided with a brushed stainless steel base and chromed or painted footrest. The two bands composing the backrest envelop a round and well padded seat and perform two important functions: lumbar support and armrests. This is how aesthetics and functionality come together in a project suitable for every type of environment: from home, to hospitality, to office.

The two injection molded technopolymer joints allow the backrest to be inserted directly on the rear legs and to close the chair into a minimal space. The fittings of the tube structure made of aluminium do not have any inaccuracies due to normal welding. Seat and back are made of ash veneered plywood, painted in natural colour or in monochrome with the frame.
IT. Tecnologia, leggerezza e linearitĂ emergono in questa sedia pieghevole realizzata senza saldature e con finiture di massima qualitĂ . I due giunti di assemblaggio in tecnopolimero stampato a iniezione permettono di innestare lo schienale direttamente sulle gambe posteriori e di chiudere la sedia in uno spazio minimo. I raccordi della struttura in tubo di alluminio non presentano imprecisioni causate dalle normali saldature. Sedile e schienale sono realizzati in multistrato di frassino verniciato in tinta naturale o in monocromia con il fusto.

Log chairs and stools are suitable for outdoor use, excluding Plus leather version, thanks to a zinc coat and polyester paints treatment, applied to all the steel structures of the collection and to the electro-welding of the "mesh" version. The "spaghetti" pvc strings are fireproof and water-repellent. The reinforced core inside the ropes guarantees resistance to alterations caused by weight stress and atmospheric excursions.
IT. Una struttura essenziale in tondino d’acciaio verniciata disegna profili e volumi con una armoniosa simmetria fra vuoti e pieni. Le sedie e gli sgabelli Log sono adatti all’uso in ambienti esterni, ad eccezione della versione "plus" in cuoio, grazie al trattamento con fondo di zinco e vernici poliestere applicato su tutte le strutture in acciaio della collezione e sulle reti elettrosaldate della versione “mesh”. Le corde in pvc della versione “spaghetti” sono ignifughe e idrorepellenti. L’anima rinforzata al loro interno garantisce la resistenza alle alterazioni provocate dalle sollecitazioni del peso e dalle escursioni atmosferiche.

Il basamento, disponibile in due altezze, h75 e h110, segue sempre la forma del piano, tondo con colonna a sezione tonda, oppure quadrato con colonna a sezione quadrata. Il trattamento con polvere di zinco garantisce l’utilizzo in ambienti esterni per la versione verniciata.
