Welcome to our Alpin Resort Sacher, where luxury is subtly felt rather than ostentatiously displayed or embarrassingly evident. We understand luxury as a professional, discreet and individual service that satisfies the needs of every guest and enriches their attitude to life.
For us, true luxury also means sufficient space and retreat options for each individual vacationer. At our resort, guests can relax and unwind completely. In addition to their room, each guest has 123 square meters of general space and 53 square meters of spa space at their disposal. This gives every guest an exclusive feeling of privacy – this first-class hideaway feeling makes your stay unforgettable.
”It felt so good...“ is what we always hear when we say goodbye to our guests.
We invite you to get to know the beauty around our Alpin Resort Sacher better. A relaxing e-bike tour or a hike will give you a good physical feeling. Our 2-toque chef Kai will also help you: the carefully prepared and excellently presented regional delicacies guarantee a culinary experience that is second to none.
Our 5-star superior establishment is not just a place of individual luxury; it is also a meeting point for like-minded individuals who feel safe and welcome. Immerse yourself in the alpine world of subtle luxury, experience a sense of social well-being, and let our dedicated team pamper you.
At the Alpin Resort Sacher, alpine charm meets a pinch of elegance from the capital, mixed with cultural highlights. As a proud Viennese, it is a special pleasure for me to offer you a touch of Viennese flair in the restaurant in the evening: Our pianist Julius subtly accompanies your dinner on the piano. A little atypical for Tyrol, but definitely fitting for a Sacher Hotel.
Enjoy a stay with us and let yourself be enchanted by the mixture of Tyrolean hospitality and Viennese charm. And – not to forget – enjoy a piece of the original ”Sacher Torte“ with whipped cream in Tyrol!

JUST 20 MINUTES FROM SEEFELD, THERE IS PLENTY TO DISCOVER IN TYROL'S
CAPITAL.
INNSBRUCK: HISTORY SURROUNDED BY THE ALPINE PANORAMA
Avisit to the capital is also part of a perfect vacation in Tyrol. Easily accessible by public transport, Innsbruck offers all kinds of sights, history and delights: from the Golden Roof to a glass of wine over the rooftops of the city – a trip to Innsbruck is worthwhile in any weather. The city has a lot to offer: the best starting point for a tour is the historical old town – which was already an urban center under Emperor Maximilian I more than 500 years ago. Back then, it served as a box seat for knights' tournaments. Today, guests can grab a ”box seat“ in the charming street cafés and watch the hustle and bustle in the pleasant alleyways from there. Speaking of watching: Visitors to the city tower have the best view of the Golden Roof with its 2,657 fire-gilded copper shingles, the roofs of the old town and the surrounding mountains. A total of 133 steps have to be climbed to enjoy the breathtaking panorama from the 31-metre-high viewing platform – but every step is worth it!
PROMISING VIEWS OVER INNSBRUCK
For a more far-reaching view, we recommend a trip even higher up. To be more precise: to the Nordkette. The Hungerburgbahn cable car takes you directly from the old town up to the Hungerburg district and the Nordkettenbahnen cable cars take you further up to the Seegrube and Hafelekar. Within a very short time, you are at over 2,000 meters above sea level. Whether you are a sportsman or a connoisseur – the Nordkette is an excursion destination and attraction for everyone. Anyone who has been up there knows why.
ANIMAL INHABITANTS OF THE ALPS
Europe’s highest zoo is also worth a visit: no other zoo has such a diverse collection of wild animals native to the alpine region as the Alpenzoo. Around 2,000 animals of around 150 species have found their home here above Innsbruck: Bear and pygmy owl, golden eagle and pond turtle, ibex and otter as well as many more.
MAXIMILIAN, SISI AND CO
Back in the city. The traces of the Habsburg dynasty are still omnipresent in Innsbruck. For example in the Hofkirche - known as the ”Schwarz Mander Kirche“. The name originates from the 28 larger-than-life bronze figures situated beside the ostentatious, yet vacant, tomb of Emperor Maximilian I. Not far from the ”Schwarze Mander“ is the Imperial Palace. Together with its counterpart in Vienna and the Schönbrunn Palace there, the Hofburg Innsbruck is one of the most important cultural buildings in Austria. The legacy of Maria Theresia is preserved here: it was the empress who had the palace converted into a baroque palace in the 18th century. The highlights of the Hofburg: the Garda Hall, the ”Inner Apartment“ furnished for Empress ”Sisi“ Elisabeth and, above all, the Giant’s Hall.
MARIA-THERESIEN-STRASSE
Maria Theresa played a pivotal role not only in the history of the Imperial Palace but also in naming the city center’s main shopping street. Today, this street, now a pedestrian zone, serves as a vibrant testament to history, offering opportunities for leisurely strolls, sightseeing, and enjoyment. It blends historic squares and venerable buildings with modern architecture, where ornate façades of historical palaces coexist with charming street cafés and upscale boutiques. Amidst the lively atmosphere, the white and gold Anas Column stands tall, while further south, the Triumphal Gate marks the boulevard's boundary.
”My favorite place to visit in Innsbruck is the Tyrolean Folk Art Museum. There's always something new to discover there, which is really exciting for a neo-Tyrolean.“
Elisabeth Gürtler
CITY ENJOYMENT
The distinctive alpine-urban lifestyle truly flourishes at the city's rooftop bars. Visitors can savor coffee above the rooftops of Innsbruck at numerous locations. Enhanced by cool beats and breathtaking mountain vistas, the cappuccino becomes an unparalleled delight. As the sundowner casts a golden glow over the alpine city later in the day, unwinding with friends over a casual drink is the ideal way to conclude the day.
LIVED HISTORY
The Tyrolean Folk Art Museum is located in the heart of Innsbruck: the history of the province is brought to life here. Visitors can explore authentic historical farmhouse parlors, a variety of traditional costumes from the different regions of Tyrol and learn about topics such as traditional festivals, everyday objects and the worries of earlier times.
ALWAYS SOMETHING HAPPENING
Making music, performing, debating – Innsbruck's cultural event calendar offers a varied program from early to late summer. For example, the Innsbruck Promenade Concerts from July 5 to 28 and the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music from July 21 to August 30 take place in the historic venues of the provincial capital. Above the rooftops of the city, Klassik am Berg will once again provide an unforgettable evening on September 8.
INNSBRUCK CARD
Innsbruck’s key attractions are effortlessly accessible with the Innsbruck Card. Available for 24, 48, or 72 hours, the card grants admission to 22 sights and museums.
Additionally, it offers mobility through Innsbruck's public transport (IVB), the Hop-on Hop-off Sightseer Bus Innsbruck, and three hours of bike rental. The card also covers rides on the Nordkette and Patscherkofel cable cars, for a scenic mountain and valley experience.

The cozy bar area can also be connected directly to the main room of the building if required. A wine cellar and a bar with a small terrace await guests in the basement. This is where event visitors can end their evenings in comfort.
ALPINE FLAIR
The design of the chalet is entirely in the Sacher style. Alpine charm meets modern elements. A warm wooden floor, high ceilings and the harmonious ambience invite event participants to linger. Thanks to accessibility and state-of-the-art technology, there is a place for everyone and the chalet is suitable for all types of experiences. The event professionals at the Alpin Resort Sacher always take all customer wishes to heart and are on hand with help and advice from the planning process to the organization and implementation of the dream event. FOR SIX YEARS, MARTINA LEITL HAS BEEN WELCOMING GUESTS TO THE ALPIN RESORT SACHER AND PUTTING THE FIRST SMILE ON THEIR FACES.
”Our
guests absolutely have to try one of our massages.“
Martina Leitl is one of the ”can’t do without her“ employees at the Alpin Resort Sacher. She has been at the luxury resort for six years and, as reservations manager, is often the first contact guests have with the 5-star superior resort. She is considered to be particularly helpful and is responsible for reception and room reservations. The 58-year-old's favorite area is the luxury hotel’s wellness oasis.
How did you get into the tourism industry and why did you choose the Alpin Resort Sacher?
My family has had a business for many years – I started here at an early age and realized that I like working with people. The Alpin Resort Sacher then offered me the unique opportunity to follow my passion in this special environment.
What do you appreciate about the resort and its guests?
One definite highlight is the great variety of tasks at our hotel, where simple and yet very demanding tasks often need to be completed one after another. I am particularly pleased every time our guests respond positively to my hiking suggestions.
How would you describe your daily routine?
My day starts in the morning with preparations for the day's schedule, arranging transfers and check-in / check-out. During the day, I take care of the offers, reservations, concierge service and also keep an eye on billing.
Where do you feel particularly at ease at the hotel?
I feel particularly good during a massage with Markus or Eva in our wellness oasis. Every guest should visit this at least once during their stay and try out one of the many different massages.
What do you think guests must have experienced at the Alpin Resort Sacher?
Our wellness area is a definite highlight for guests. It is always a great idea to enjoy a Campari Spritz served by Toni at the bar afterwards.
Is there a memorable anecdote or special experience that has stayed with you?
Once a guest even brought his turtle with him. It ”bathed“ with him in the bathtub and in the morning they went for a walk together in the garden – unforgettable (laughs).
What qualities do you think are most important in your job as a reservations manager?
For me, it is crucial to keep an overview at all times and to know the wishes and characteristics of the regular guests. And, of course, to treat every guest with empathy.
What can you learn from young colleagues?
You can learn technical knowledge and handling from young colleagues. I'm also impressed by their approach to certain tasks – they often bring more ease to their work compared to previous generations.
MAX GABRIEL ABOLNIK CAME TO THE HOTEL INDUSTRY THROUGH PLAYING THE PIANO AND NOW COORDINATES THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE AREA AT THE ALPIN RESORT SACHER.
The restaurant manager at ”Der Max“ is called Max
How did you get into the tourism industry and why did you choose the Alpin Resort Sacher?
As a child, I often played the piano and sometimes accompanied my piano tuner on repairs. One day, we visited a hotel housing a grand piano. I was captivated by the atmosphere, both front and back of house, sparking my interest in hospitality. During a visit to the Sacher Salzburg, a guest newspaper piqued my curiosity. I offered to help –and the rest is history.
What do you appreciate about the resort and its guests?
I really enjoy working with our very diverse guests, trying to anticipate their needs. As an F&B Manager, I value the opportunity to provide extensive support across all F&B outlets.
How would you describe your daily routine?
My day starts with the daily morning meeting and preparations for the service. Basically, I ensure that the workflow between the kitchen and service runs smoothly, and I also take care of the guests myself. Together with my team, we create unforgettable moments of enjoyment in the restaurant.
Where do you feel particularly at home in the hotel?
Of course everywhere in ”Der Max“ – and actually in the entire hotel. However, my absolute favorite place is the restaurant terrace; it’s a real highlight, especially during evening service at dusk.
What experiences do you consider essential for guests at the Alpin Resort Sacher?
Definitely our sauna world! And afterwards, they should jump into the swimming pond to cool off, and of course, a refreshing drink at the pool bar is also a must!
Can you recall any anecdotes or special experiences that have made a lasting impression on you?
I remember a situation with guests who initially wanted to eat in the restaurant, but whose order was to go to their suite. This and additional special requests challenged our process – the guests were delighted. They came back recently and thanked us again for the service and professionalism.
What qualities do you think are most important in your job as an F&B manager?
To be authentic, flexible, patient and, of course, to have extensive knowledge of food and beverages. It is also important to have a professional demeanor and to support the team in the best possible way.
What can be learned from experienced colleagues?
Experienced colleagues continually inspire me. Everyone benefits from their experience and applied expertise, especially when interacting with guests.
MAX GABRIEL ABOLNIKMax Gabriel Abolnik has been working at the Alpin Resort Sacher since September 2023. As F&B Operations Manager, the 34-year-old oversees all processes in the Food & Beverage area. Together with his team, he also ensures that everyone is always spoiled with first-class service and delicious food. Max is considered particularly helpful and charming by guests and staff.
AUSTRIA'S POWER WOMEN MEET REGULARLY TO NETWORK AT THE ALPIN RESORTS SACHER.
WOMEN EMPOWER WOMEN IN SEEFELD
Luxury hotels owned by women are ideal for forming and supporting women's networks. The directors or owners know exactly what is important and of interest to women; what is good for them and what they like. The participants often find the events organized by women to be particularly pleasant in terms of atmosphere – as a result, the willingness to exchange knowledge and experience is more open and takes place with even more personal commitment.
FUTURE MEANS CHANCES
The very dynamic managing director of the Campaigning Bureau, Stefanie Winkler-Schloffer, decided to hold her event ”Future means Chances“, organized for women, for the second time in Seefeld in January. Only women were on stage and the organizers made a credible statement against all-male panels. In terms of content, the conference focused on how to move forward even in times of major crises and upheaval. Speakers included Federal Minister Susanne Raab, former Federal Minister Christine Aschbacher, Managing Director of Österreich Werbung Astrid Steharnig-Staudinger and Dr. Sabine Herlitschka (Infineon).
WOMEN’S SYMPOSIUM
For three years, the Alpin Resort Sacher has been celebraiting International Women's Day with a symposium. Keynote speakers present their topics on a scientific basis and answer questions related to ”Well-Aging“ and ”Well-Feeling“. This year, on March 2, it was time once again: About 100 women attended the lecture by hormone specialist and theologian Prof. DDr. Johannes Huber on ”Biological Rhythms in the Life of Women“. An equally interesting lecture by sports medicine expert Doz. Dr. Gunther Leeb followed. Afterwards, a panel discussion explored the future image of women. The symposium concluded with a wine tasting by winemaker Fanny Salomon.
For the first time, the following weekend was also dedicated to women: In cooperation with the women’s magazine ”Tirolerin“, after visiting the collection of art expert Rafael Jablonka, experts discussed the significance of ”Art in Life“. Additional workshop topics included: the new Tyrolean cuisine, Gmund Paper, fashion trends and interior design consultation.

WELL-BEING
LEAN BACK AND RELAX AT THE ALPIN RESORT SACHER
Guests look forward to a restful and luxurious break in Seefeld: This moment of tranquility is enjoyed by vacationers at the Alpin Resort Sacher not only in their own rooms. Additionally, each guest has access to another 123 square meters of communal space and 53 square meters of spa area. Even while hiking in the surrounding nature, vacationers feel welcomed and secure. Thus, guests at the Alpin Resort Sacher relax holistically.
BODY & SOUL
The exclusive Body & Soul event on April 26 and 27, 2024, aims to harmonize body and mind. Everyone wants to feel physically comfortable, completely relaxed even after difficult and stressful situations, and be able to perform optimally at the moment it is needed. This physical and mental balance can be achieved through certain techniques. During the ”Body & Soul“ week at the Alpin Resort Sacher, guidance from experts in a mental workshop helps achieve this: Mental expert Manuel Horeth and Eva Pölzl, known as an ORF presenter, impart these skills through special training programs and introversion stress management. Participants learn how to overcome fears and doubts while also gaining more calmness, self-confidence, motivation, concentration, and perseverance. To achieve physical relaxation as well, the event is supported by yoga expert Caro and outdoor specialist Fabian Kickl. Chief therapist Markus and head cosmetician Gül enhance the Body & Soul well-being with their treatments.
”Our experts at 'Body & Soul' primarily focus on mental health, but also on physical well-being.“

WANDERLUST
At1,200 meters above sea level, the peaks are closer and the views wider. Hiking trails start right outside the door of the Alpin Resort Sacher. Around Seefeld, there are pristine alpine landscapes, cool forests, lush meadows, roaring waterfalls, and crystal-clear mountain lakes –as well as huts to discover and enjoy.
FRIEDENSWANDERWEG
The Friedensglocke Mösern, known as the peace bell, has recently been relocated to its new location. With an impressive weight of 10,450 kilograms, it is the largest freestanding bell in the alpine region. The Friedenswanderweg leads directly to the bell and offers a magnificent view over the Inntal valley.
BEE EDUCATIONAL TRAIL
The new Bee Educational Trail is just under three kilometers long. It takes interested individuals into the fascinating world of bees and forest beneficial insects. This family and child-friendly themed trail provides a holistic view of habitats and demonstrates a sustainable concept for preserving natural biodiversity.
LEUTASCHER GEISTERKLAMM
Ghosts, goblins, and dwarves are said to call untouched nature their home. Yet few have seen them so far. Visitors of all ages embark on the newly designed themed trail in search of these elusive beings. Along the way, they experience captivating stories, numerous games, and interesting facts in an authentic nature experience amidst rushing waters and the picturesque mountain forest.
Once in July and once in August, yogis gather at the Seefelder Joch at an altitude of 2,064 meters to welcome the day together. During Sunrise Yoga with certified yoga coach Marcel Clementi, participants experience the power of nature and the magic of a sunrise with a 360-degree panorama, starting the day with a unique yoga session.
Musically, Seefeld will once again showcase a variety of performances next summer: In addition to the popular summer concerts by various brass bands, international music groups will also be visiting. Kicking off the season is Austrian rising star Alexander Eder with his Spring Open-Air Festival at the end of May at the Rossalm: His performance concludes a musical day in the evening with a powerful sundowner concert. In early August, classical music fans will be delighted with the magnificent Seefeld Music Days. Additionally, Max von Milland will treat audiences to a sunrise concert featuring his authentic South Tyrolean sound at the Rosshütte in Seefeld.
Beyondthe already well-known indoor and outdoor tennis courts, there is another highlight for athletes this winter: in Tyrol, Padel can only be played indoors in Seefeld. The trend sport is known for its simple yet captivating gameplay and is an ideal sport for leisurely matches as well as exciting competitions. The rules of this fascinating blend of tennis and squash are very easy to learn.
WELCOMING CHANGE...
Occasionally, one is caught by surprise by the changing times. One can welcome this and see it as an opportunity, or let it pass by. In my case, it happened last May. A captivating conversation with a great opportunity for the future – a change in my career ensued. The friendly relationship with Elisabeth Gürtler and the open discussions have encouraged me to seize this chance. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the fantastic last three years at the Alpin Resort Sacher, your belief in the brand change and our product, and the great efforts of our staff to always be good hosts to you. The many efforts of the past years would not have been possible without a phenomenal team with the highest possible commitment.
I wish this magnificent establishment and its team continued success. To you personally, dear guests, all the best for the future. Until we meet again.
