ROLE PLAY 13 THE FISHING TRIP. Peter and his three sons, Andrew, Oscar and Tom have got a fishing boat. Every day, they sail across the sea to go fishing, and they rent their boat to tourists who want to learn how to fish. Tom, the youngest brother sells tickets to tourists every afternoon for the next day’s trip. The passengers are arriving now with their equipment.

Some of them are carrying their own fishing rods and others are renting them from Gordon. Usually, when everyone is aboard, Peter stands at the helm and makes a signal to Oscar to untie the boat. But today Oscar is daydreaming and Andrew is doing everything. Today they are fishing in one of the Peter’s favourite places. Peter is telling his favourite fish stories. Some of the passengers are eating their lunch, while others, who feel sick are trying not to look at the food or smell the bait. Tom and Andrew are helping some of the passengers, and Oscar is also trying to help them. Poor Oscar!, he always tries to be useful, but he usually ends up causing some damage. He trips over ropes, he falls over the anchor... Now, while his brothers are helping the passengers, Oscar is watching out of the boat to catch one of a passenger’s fish with the net. The fish is jumping in all directions. Oh!, it seems the fish is winning, and finally Oscar went overboard. He never knows when to give up.
