3D Printed Table
Using Grasshopper Plugin called Mosquito, a grasshopper algorithm is able to achieve a customized and complex parametric surface for the fabrication of acoustic panels.
Material usage is an important matter for 3D printing, therefore in this example 99% of printed material is used, leaving only a waste of 1 %, reducing waste. Furthermore, this structure can be used in multiple scenarios, ranging from personal use, benches for public spaces , coffee tables and playgrounds for children.

FAÇA-DESIGN
A local Costa Rican business was in need of a renewal its main store, in which the objective was to translate an innovative new marketing image into an architectural proposal. Since the local business sold ceramic tiles and wooden - plastic floor panels, out team decided to showcase these materials to the public by using them in the façade design. We also exhibit an ample interior space crowned by a parametrically designed hanged ceiling fabricated with local store ceiling tiles.
