Welcome to Pace University Welcome to Pace University. We are excited to host your team in competition for the upcoming season. Please read through this guide to answer any questions you may have during your visit. We hope you enjoy your time at Pace. Department Information

Campus Map The Pleasantville campus and Briarcliff location in mid-Westchester County are set on 200 acres of rolling countryside where the University flourishes as a preeminent institution of higher education, offering a broad range of undergraduate degree programs, and graduate programs in nursing. In 1977, Pace acquired Briarcliff College, 3 miles from Pleasantville in Briarcliff Manor. Residence halls, recreational facilities and administrative offices are located here.


Directions to Campus Saw Mill River Parkway– Northbound Take exit 26, “Taconic State Parkway.” The first exit on the Taconic Parkway is for Pace University at Pleasantville – Route 117. At the end of the exit there is a traffic light. Entrances one and two to the campus are directly in front of you, straight across the intersection. If you turn right at the light and proceed east on Rte 117, entrance three is 2/10 of a mile on the left. Entrance three is the most popular entrance with access to our residence halls and administrative buildings. Saw Mill River Parkway- Southbound Take Exit 29, “Manville Road/Pleasantville.” At the stop sign, turn left onto Manville Road. Travel 2/10 of a mile. At the stop sign, turn right onto Route 117 (Bedford Road). The campus is 3/10 of a mile on the right. You will see three entrances, marked three, then two, then one. Entrance three is the most popular entrance with access to our residence halls and administrative buildings. Sprain Brook Parkway and the Taconic State Parkway – Northbound Take the Sprain Brook Parkway northbound.At the Hawthorne interchange, the Sprain Brook will lead directly onto the Taconic State Parkway. The first exit on the Taconic Parkway is for Pace University at “Pleasantville – Route 117.” At the end of the exit there is a traffic light. Entrance one and two to the campus are directly in front of you, straight across the intersection. If you turn right at the light and proceed east on Rte 117, entrance three is 2/10 of a mile on the left. Entrance three is the most popular entrance with access to our residence halls and administrative buildings. Taconic State Parkway– Southbound Take the exit “Pleasantville Road/Pleasantville.” At the end of the exit, at the light, turn left and proceed under the Taconic Parkway. Continue on Pleasantville Road to the third traffic light. Turn right at this light and proceed 2/10 of a mile. At the stop sign turn right onto Route 117 (Bedford Road). The campus is 3/10 of a mile on the right. You will see three entrances, marked three, then two, then one. Directions Continued Cross Westchester Expressway – Route 287 –Westbound Take exit 3 to the Sprain Brook Parkway northbound and proceed north as above. Tappan ZeeBridge and Cross Westchester Expressway – Route 287 –East After paying the toll on the Tappan Zee Bridge, stay in the right lane and proceed south on Route 87 (New York State Thruway). Get off at Exit 8A, which is marked: Route 87South/Rte 119/SawMill Parkway NORTH. Remain in the right lane as the exit splits. Follow the Saw Mill River Parkway North and get off at exit 26, “Taconic State Parkway.” The first exit on the Taconic Parkway is for Pace University at Pleasantville – Route 117. At the end of the exit there is a traffic light. Entrance one and two to the campus are directly in front of you, straight across the intersection. If you turn right at the light and proceed east on Rte 117, entrance three is 2/10 of a mile on the left. From Manhattan and Bronx: Major Deegan – New York State Thruway -Route 87 - Northbound Take exit 7A “Saw Mill River Parkway North” and follow the directions above. Route 9A – Northbound Follow Rte 9A north and exit at “Route 117/Sleepy Hollow/Pleasantville.” This will be a left lane exit. At the end of the exit, at the traffic light, turn right and proceed under the Taconic State Parkway to the first traffic light. Turn left into entrance one and two, or proceed east 2/10 of a mile to entrance three. Entrance three is the most popular entrance with access to our residence halls and administrative buildings. Route 9A – Southbound Follow Route 9 into Croton on Hudson and take the exit for Route 9A “Briarcliff Manor.” Exit at Route 117/Sleepy Hollow/Pleasantville. This will be a left lane exit. At the top of the exit, at the light, turn left and proceed under the Taconic State Parkway to the first traffic light. Turn left for entrance one and two, or proceed 2/10 of a mile east and turn left into entrance three. Entrance three is the most popular entrance with access to our residence halls and administrative buildings.


Special Directions for Athletics Buses To: One Pace Plaza, New York, NY 10038 (NYC Campus) From the North: Take I-95 South, I-87 South, or the Bruckner Expressway Rt. 278 to the Triborough Bridge. After crossing the Triborough Bridge, take Rt. 278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway South for just over 11 miles and then bear right onto Tillery St. Go ½ a mile and turn right onto the Brooklyn Bridge. After crossing the Brooklyn Bridge, turn slight right onto Centre St. and left onto Reade St. Turn right onto Elk St. Turn right onto Duane St./Federal Plaza. Turn right onto Lafayette St. Turn slight right onto Centre St. Centre St. becomes Park Row. Turn left onto Spruce St. End at 1 Pace Plaza. From the South: Take the Brooklyn Bridge into Manhattan and follow the directions above. Take Rt. 278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway East to Hamilton Ave. and follow signs to the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel. After passing through the Tunnel, turn right onto West St. and immediately right onto Rector St. Turn left onto Trinity Place which becomes Church St. Turn right onto Vesey St. which becomes Ann St. Turn right left onto Park Row and almost immediately, turn left onto Spruce St. End at 1 Pace Plaza. Take the Prospect Expressway West or the Gowanus Expressway to the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel and follow the directions above. From the East: Take 278 South to the Brooklyn Bridge (see “From the North” above) and follow the directions above. Take Rt. 495 Long Island Expressway West to Exit 17 onto I-278 Brooklyn-Queens Expressway West. Take Exit 29 onto Tillery St. and then onto the Brooklyn Bridge. Follow the directions above. From the West: Take the NJ Turnpike I-95 to Routes 1 and 9 going East to the Holland Tunnel (NOTE: the maximum width of trucks or buses allowed to enter the Holland Tunnel is 96"). Take the ramp toward Downtown/ Brooklyn. Turn slight left onto Beach St. Beach St. becomes Walker St. Turn right onto Lafayette St. Turn slight right onto Centre St. Centre St. becomes Park Row. Turn left onto Spruce St. End at 1 Pace Plaza. Take Routes 1 and 9 to the Holland Tunnel and follow the directions above.


To: 861 Bedford Rd, Pleasantville, New York 10570 (Pleasantville Campus) From the Briarcliff Campus: Start going North on Elm Rd. toward Pine Rd. Turn left onto South State Rd. Turn right onto Pleasantville Rd. Merge onto Rt. 100 South / Rt. 9A South via the ramp on the left. Turn slight left to take the Rt. 117 ramp toward North Tarrytown/ Pleasantville. Turn left onto Bedford Rd./Rt. 117. Enter the Pace Entrance #1 for the Willcox Gym or Pace Entrance #3 for the Goldstein Athletics Center and athletic fields. From the North: Take Rt. 9A South towards Briarcliff Manor and follow the directions above. Take Rt. 100/Saw Mill River Rd. South and turn left onto Bedford Rd./Rt. 117. Follow the directions above. From the South: Take I-87 New York State Thruway North to Exit 8, I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway. Take Exit 1, Saw Mill Parkway/Rt. 119, and bear right onto the Rt. 119 exit. Turn left at the end of the exit and proceed to Rt. 9A. Turn left onto Rt. 9A North and follow that for 8 miles. Exit at the Rt. 117/Pleasantville Exit. Turn right at the light onto Bedford Rd./Rt. 117 and Pace will be on your left. Take Rt. 9A North to the Rt. 117/Pleasantville Exit and follow the directions above. From the East: Take I-684 South or I-95 South to I-287 West. Take I-287 West to Exit 2, Rt. 9A. Make a right turn onto Rt. 9A North and follow the directions above. Take I-287 West and follow the directions above. From the West: Take I-87 South across the Tappan Zee Bridge. After the tolls, take Exit 8, I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway. Stay in righthand lane and take Exit 1, Saw Mill Parkway/Rt. 119. Follow directions above. Take I-95 North to the George Washington Bridge to I-87 North and follow the directions above.


235 Elm Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510 (Briarcliff Campus) From the Pleasantville Campus: Make a right out of Pleasantville campus to Route 9A. Take Route 9A North for about 2.5 miles to a light at the intersection with Texaco on your left and a strip of stores on your right. Turn left onto North State Rd. At next light turn left onto Pleasantville Rd. Follow through the town and make the first right onto Elm Rd. Go up the hill and the campus will be on your left. From The North: Take Rt. 100/Saw Mill River Rd. South. Turn right onto Pleasantville Rd. Turn left onto South State Rd. Turn right onto Elm Rd. and proceed to campus. Take I-95 South or I-684 South to I-287 west. Take I-287 West to Exit 2, Rt. 9A. Make a right turn onto Rt. 9A North and follow the directions above. From the South: Take I-87 New York State Thruway North to Exit 8, I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway. Stay in right-hand lane and take Exit 1, Saw Mill Parkway/Rt. 119. Bear right onto 119. Turn left at the end of the exit and proceed to Rt. 9A North. Follow the directions above. Take I-95 North to the George Washington Bridge to I-87 North and follow the directions above. From the East: Take I-95 South or I-684 South to I-287 west and follow the directions above. From the West: Take I-87 South across the Tappan Zee Bridge. Services Prior to each game, game notes and programs will be distributed to visiting sports information directors and media. For both basketball and football, running play by play and a half time box will be distributed to coaches, SID’s and media. If a SID or a representative from the department will not accompany a team, we request a 48 hour notice of post-game media requests. Facilities Ann and Alfred Goldstein Health, Fitness & Recreation Center The 75,00 square foot fitness center includes a 2,400-seat arena, scoreboards with message center, walking/jogging track, aerobics/dance room,fitness room with cardio theater, locker rooms, equipment room, VIP room, eight lane natatorium, concession stand, meeting room, training facility and health care unit.
