PACIFICA ATHLETICS

SEAWOLVES BOYS BASKETBALL 2023 LEAGUE CHAMPIONS TOP 50 IN THE STATE

The Pacifica athletics department strives to develop young athletes who contend at a highly competitive level and who are, more importantly, men and women of strong moral character. The Pacifica athletics staff are accomplished athletes, coaches, and role models as men and women of faith. The department creates an environment where student-athletes can be challenged to develop their physical skills while engaging their teammates, coaches, and competition.

ATHLETICS LEADERSHIP

TRAVEL

Pacifica coaches play an instrumental role in developing student athletes into men and women of character. As athletes themselves, coaches have competed at the highest levels of national and international competition; as coaches, they are experts at inspiring athletes to perform beyond expectations, while grounding them in a process of commitment, support, and encouragement.

Pacifica Athletics is known as a mobile department, not only traveling within Santa Monica for practices and top notch competition, but across California and the west coast as well. These trips provide focused attention on skill building and technique, exposure to higher level competition, and perhaps most importantly, team building and team unity through personal relationships and unparalleled memories. Whether it’s the volleyball team’s annual trip to Big Bear, the Cross Country team competing in Oregon and visiting Nike headquarters, top level tournament play in Palm Springs for our basketball squads, or playing baseball games in the Arizona spring training facility, Pacifica Athletics travels well!

BRANDON SHAW Athletic Director Cross Country, Girls Basketball & Track Coach

“There is a great pride in what we do and what we represent. The best way to describe a Pacifica athlete is that they never let up and they never give up. Pacifica athletes are pushed and strengthened in an environment that fosters responsibility and leadership, enabling students of all levels to contribute to the success of the program. They build their own legacy while paying respect to the student athletes who came before them.” STACI LANE Associate Athletic Director Volleyball & Beach Volleyball Coach Cross Country Team Competing in Oahu, Hawaii
