Your visit to the PDC

Speaker Information Package Welcome to the 2017 Pacific Dental Conference in beautiful Vancouver, BC. This will be a great time for you to be in the city with spring blossoms and flowers dotting the landscape. Evenings will be longer and we encourage you to stroll the seawall outside the convention centre down to Stanley Park where you’ll get a first hand look at nature. There are plenty of restaurants with harbour views and wonderful seafood. We have put together this PDF to assist you in your stay and to point out things which you might want to consider doing in your free time. Thank you in advance for speaking at the Pacific Dental Conference and we hope the experience will be very positive for you. Corks ‘n’ Kegs Your visit to the PDC

“formerly known as Life is Too Short to Drink Bad Wine”

Thursday, March 9, 2017 6:00pm – 7:30pm

Vancouver Convention Centre - West Ballroom Foyer If you love beer and wine don’t miss the PDC Corks and Kegs event. Formerly known as “Life is too Short to Drink Bad Wine” we are changing course and adding beer to the mix. Corks – Join us on a voyage of discovery in the vineyards of Chile and Argentina and be guided through an exquisite tasting of some of the very best values in South America. Wine Whisperer David Lancelot has worked his magic once again sourcing the best products from the Andes! Kegs – Phillips Brewing is proudly brewed in Victoria, British Columbia; their craft beers are anything but ordinary, from your mainstay favourites to seasonal releases. Step up to the tasting bar to sample Blue Buck, Pilsner or Short Wave to name a few! This social event will be held in the Level 1 Foyer outside of Ballroom D overlooking the beautiful harbour. Don’t miss this evening of fine wines and gregarious beers.
