Design Strategy I
Plot Proportions: Frontage/ Depth Accessing the Project is via an escalator that ascends the façade with a single stop at the top floor, on the second floor level. From there, the visitor can take a quasi-outdoor staircase up to the rooftop or a spiraling stair unfurling an atrium through retail spaces downwards. From there, a wide cascading stair, fit for seating, hovers atop the entrance to the Sports Club and overlooks the bicycle/running trail loop. Entering through the anchor programs, distributed as per ‘design brief’, the visitor is exposed to all the supporting secondary programs on the way out via 2 sets of elevator/stair cores and an open spiraling stair.
