ABOUT THE THEME "Retro Circus" is the key concept which has been taken as
an
inspiration
under
the
focal
theme
"Retro
revolution".The aim and objective behind this concept is to trace the path again,revisit the era gone by,bring alive
the
imagination
of
circus
and
the
activities
involved through fabric. At the same time I would Like to create creative outfits which would have a lot of design ideas and concept with lots of surface embellishment on it,which can help industry.
The garments are inspired from architecture,music,art and
culture
from
70s
and
80s
and
created in such a way that,a person
the
collection
is
can wear the same
and feel the retro circus and the fun of carnivals.
The collection includes hand done techniques to create fabric surfaces which will remind of circus activities.
The garments are done from the industrial waste which can
push
the
recycling
ideologue,the
fabric
developments have done from industrial waste fabrics ad dumped embroidery threads.
During
the
process
of
garment
construction,
the
sustainability of the environment will be taken care and the use of wooden buttons and natural dyes will make this collection unique and sustainable.
To sum up,I look forward to convey the retro imagination in the form of circus drama.
