A Trip to the WILDFLOWER MEADOW

Hello, Little Rabbit! Where are you going? Down to the meadow to see what’s growing!

I’ll pick flowers for my friend Mouse, who is sick. I want to cheer her up. This may do the trick.

She always loves flowers in various hues of red, white, and yellow with hints of dark blues.

Something smells so divine to my wandering nose. Why look over here, it’s one yellow rose.

Let’s bring it along as we search for some more.

And, oh! A caterpillar is here to explore.

This way to the meadow. There’s space to run free. With fields of wildflowers, there’s so much to see.

These bluebonnets here are especially fine. They have always been a favorite flower of mine.

A Trip to the FOREST

Hello, Little Hedgehog!

Where are you going today?

To the forest with friends!

I’ll show you the way...

We’ve had some bad news. Squirrel’s acorns are lost. We must help her find more before the first frost.

They were high on a branch, when the wind swiftly blew. Away they went, to the river they flew.

Hello there, Raccoon! Will you help us search? Squirrel lost all her acorns from up on her perch.

I’m happy to help. In fact, come this way! A small, squirmy friend saw a few yesterday.

Wow, Little Worm!
You’ve already found three! Can I carry them for you back to the big tree?

A Trip to the FARMERS MARKET

Hello, Little Fox!

Where are you going today?

To the Farmers Market!

I’ll show you the way...

There’s so much to see, so much to explore! I have a small list of things to look for.

We are planning to have a picnic surprise for Owl who is traveling here from far-away skies.

After flying all day, he’ll be ready to eat. We’ll make him a salad. A fresh local treat.

A bit of green lettuce, a handful of kale, with apples and strawberries, if we see some for sale.

Start with this basket. What’s that I see? Some apples inside. I think I’ll take three!

They’re a dark shade of red, and look ready to eat. Owl sure will love this crunchy, sweet treat!

Encourage your child’s language development through the exploration of nature and stories about friendship and kindness.

Created by licensed speech pathologist and artist Tabitha Paige, the three books in this set take parents and children on adventures to the farmers market, the forest, and a wildflower meadow. These engaging stories incorporate early language concepts such as colors, counting, prepositions, quantities, and basic vocabulary. Each book was written and designed to support the development of a child’s communication skills.

Our Little Adventures also provides parents with additional activity ideas that promote continued learning and help young children continue to develop language skills with confidence. These books capture the magic of language and strengthen the parent-child bond. So, come along as we explore our great big world, meet new friends, and develop our language skills along the way!
