Student of the Week This week’s Student of the Week is Chau Dang. Dang is a junior at MHS. She was nominated by Memorial High School teacher, Rayven Adams. Adams said Chau is deserving of this recognition. “Chau is always present in class and on task,” said Adams. Dang is busy at school and outside of school, but she says some of her favorite things to do include studying math and sleeping. A quote she lives by is, “life has thousands of reasons to make you cry, but you still have to find a million reasons to smile.” Dang was surprised to learn she is Student of the Week. “I didn’t think I could ever become Student of the Week,“ Dang said. After high school, she has many goals. Dang said she likes both math and nutrition, but she has not quite figured out what she wants to study.
