Did you stumble upon your career or was it something that you always wanted? Anyone who has known me for a long time will agree with me when I say they would never have even dreamed that I would start my own clothing brand. It just wasn’t me.. It was never a part of my plan - but things change and in this case, for the better. Growing up I had two options, accounting or law - it ended up being a bit of both. It wasn’t until I moved back to Pakistan that I went down this route.
Of course being the boss has it’s own perks, but it comes with a whole new set of challenges- the not-soglamorous parts of getting the work done. What no one tells is how much hard work and heart goes into running a business. It’s a 24-hour job! Name one boss lady that you admire and how she still inspires you? Estee Lauder - She was a visionary of her time. I admire her for tenacity and dedication. To quote her - “I have never worked a day in my life without selling. If I believe in something, I sell it, and I sell it hard.”
Who has been the greatest inspiration in your life? It was never actually an ‘aha’ moment. There was always Describe a day in your life a part of me that loved art.
