7 TIPS
TO MAKE YOUR
TRADESHOW
Whether your budget is $1000 or $100,000, a tradeshow should be viewed as a corporate investment, not an expense. Advance planning, a little creativity and strategic thinking will ensure that your booth is well attended and your brand is remembered long after the show has ended.
Check out our custom tradeshow catalogue (page numbers referenced below). It is packed with great products and ideas to make sure your booth is a success. www.brandalliance.com/tradeshow Be visually appealing: Screens, electronic presentations, banners, signs, balloons, giant beach balls, lights etc. can be used to provide an appealing space. But make sure that your decoration elements don’t block/narrow the entrance 2 to your booth (see tradeshow catalogue pages 10 – 11).
Leave room for play: Give attendees a reason to not only visit your booth, but stay. Consider adding interactive games, trivia challenges or technology pieces (photo booths, free WiFi hot spots etc.) to encourage interaction in your booth (see tradeshow catalogue pages 10 – 11). 1

Plan your giveaways: Don’t just offer a product for the sake of having a giveaway. Take the time to choose a product that really represents your brand and will be memorable after the show (see tradeshow catalogue pages 21 – 32). 5
WATER
Think outside the box: If you are using a water bottle as a giveaway (even better if you have a water station at your booth where attendees can fill it up!), consider building a large pyramid out of the bottle boxes and attract people to your booth with your giveaway display (see tradeshow catalogue page 35).

6 Get the right people into your booth: Don’t rely on the event’s exhibition team to bring traffic into the show or your booth. You should start building momentum and excitement weeks before the event starts. Target specific companies or clients and make sure they receive a personalized invitation to visit your booth. Also, provide an incentive to those whose visit will bring you the most ROI (see tradeshow catalogue page 9).
Use the sense of smell to get attention! The smell of popcorn can attract people to your booth from all over the tradeshow floor (see tradeshow catalogue page 4).
