The first Tea School masterclass

On 14 June, to thank our Theophile customers for their loyalty, we invited a hundred of them to an online masterclass celebrating the arrival of the new spring teas.

Paul Roudez, master tea sommelier and trainer at the Tea School, took us on a virtual tour of the tea gardens of Darjeeling in the Himalayas. It was a fascinating journey through the history and geography of this amazing place, which was followed by a guided tasting of two first-flush Darjeelings: Phuguri DJ7 and Rohini EX14 Spring Delight. We finished off with a lively and interesting discussion of the teas. Thank you to everyone who took part! This first online masterclass was a great success and we plan to hold further sessions.
