Light as emotion, sensation, artifice and metaphorical revelation. BEBYGROUP S.p.A. rewrites the art of illuminating turning it into works of art, by creations that fuse functionality and aesthetics, quality and décor, identity and scenic effect. A philosophy which makes the light the absolute protagonist in an environment which gets redesigned, redefined and enriched by the distinctive characteristics of the materials, by the forms and details which are translated in visual experiences unique in variety and intensity. Works of art that originate from a 50 year experience which handcraft and innovation, research and passion have formed the essence of a reality which has become all over the world synonymous with prestige and style, representing the class choice for an internal illumination creating harmony between lighting projects and architecture. A project of constant stylistic research which has allowed the company to become protagonist with their own collections of illuminations of the most renowned hotels and resorts and of the most exclusive luxury residences, attaining in 2003 a prestigious collaboration with the La Fenice theatre and in 2004 with the La Scala theatre for which BEBYGROUP S.p.A. had taken upon themselves the reconstruction and the restoration of the original main parts of the illumination. An excellence that originates from a qualified know-how, consequence of the great experience of the family Soffiato that is not only based on influential and prestigious partnerships for the realisation of exclusive materials but also on the research, design and projecting of the models’ technique and style. Characteristics entrusted to the company’s creative director, Silvia Broggian, aimed to interpret and anticipate the new artistic trends with a scrupulous interest towards the lifestyle and a philosophy of the coordinate that takes form in the collection of furnishing elements and complements “Home”, enriching it with glamour and emotion with the collection of candles “The scent of light”. THE ART OF BEBY ITALY AT THE SERVICE OF THE ITALIAN ART Theatre La Fenice Beby Italy has managed in exclusive the restoration and the reconstruction of the original main parts of the illuminationof the renowned Theatre La Fenice of Venice completely destroyed by a fire the 29th January 1996 and reopenedto the public on 14th December 2003. A prestigious and extremely demanding project, under the direct supervision of the Venice municipality for which the company has managed the complete reproduction of over 250 models, from wall brackets with 3 or 5 lights, chandeliers and wall brackets Empire style, realized in metal bronze fusion with over 50.000 pendants in cut crystal for the Cavea Central, the Palco and the Palco Reale. The absolute protagonist of the Cavea Teatrale is the impressive chandelier with 136 lights, interiorly reconstructed under the strict supervision of UNESCO which monitored each phase of the production, from the realization of the matrixes for the bronze fusion of the structures and the friezes, to the creations of the crystals in cut glass until the reproduction of the 3 bronze statues placed at the centre of the structure. Particulars realized entirely by hand which symbolizes the attention that Beby Italy has for details, nical and stylistic research of the models and for the innovative technology that has allowed the addition of particular dicroiche lights necessary to illuminate the statues and friezes placed at the centre of the chandelier creating a new and fascinating games of light. Rediscovering and perfecting the methodology, handcraft techniques and workmanship now no longer in use, the company has been able to reproduce all the models on the basis of the originals from the XIX century without undergoing any esthetical variations, adapting them at the same time to the actual safety norms. An undertaking which has given Beby Italy an important opportunity for professional growth and which has consolidated and confirmed the value of the entrepreneurial process of the company, made of passion, handcraft and professionalism which allowed a renown theatre, recognized and undisputed symbol in the Italian art world, to recommence shining in all its antique splendour.
Created in 1966, the Beby Italy label for internal illumination is BEBYGROUP’s symbol of history and tradition and it is dedicated, by 2 distinct artistic sensibilities, to a classic and renaissance style contained in the catalogue “Collezioni” and to an interpretation of the classic taste in a modern and contemporary style which is contained in the catalogue “Emozioni”, in which the illumination is transformed into a lifestyle, giving the environment expression of class and theater. Characteristics which are completed by the collection of furniture elements and complements “Home”, designed and realized to combine with the light creations and the fragrances of the candles “The scent of light”, which enrich the ambient with pleasant and exclusive emotions.

Created in 1998, the DILUCE label for internal illumination is dedicated to actual and anticipator style and to an ambient in which the essence of the design encounters the values and quality of the technical functional illumination. A strong and anticipating character, that is created by an careful analysis of the modern artistic sensibility to exalt the creations’ minimal forms and the clean innovative lines with the pureness and the harmony of the chrome plated metals, the certified Swarovski crystal, the satins and the velvets. Characteristics that are substantially valued by the workmanship rigorously handcrafted, by the innovative and exclusive production techniques and by the care of the details and of the finishings, which represent the “must” of a soul rich of modernism. An identity of value to transform the environment and its illumination into lifestyle, also through the collection of furnishing elements and complements “Home”, produced in coordinate to give freshness and essentiality to a unique style, expression of the personal identity.
Inspired by the DILUCE creations the “Home” collection of furnishings elements and complements has been studied and realized to recreate the elegance and the style of the coordinate which is translated into lifestyle. Sofa’s, pillows and poufs in silks or cotton velvets, tables of chrome plated metal and extra clear glass are handcrafted products following the ergonomic lines and minimal volumes of design enriched by stylish details. The crystal mesh, the welded Swarovski crystals, used for the finishings, and the various available colours (white, black and pearl grey) recall the creations of the crystal Dream collection. Citation of style that relive also in the new and exclusive line with the personalised DL logo created with Lurex thread in a cotton and silk jacquard with grey background which create a texture with a refined effect.
