VANCOUVER PIZZA HEAVEN

If pizza is your idea of heaven, it’s time to visit Dunbar’s newly opened Vancouver Pizza Heaven. Owners Sachin Mutneja and Rahul Verma are thrilled to serve this perennial favourite food choice for parties, easy meals when you’re too tired to cook, or any time a craving hits.

Sachin and Rahul had previously worked together running a restaurant in Richmond and decided to combine their talents to create recipes and open their own business. The ambitious partners opened the Dunbar location in late August and introduced a second restaurant in New Westminster.

“We started exploring Vancouver and determined Dunbar was the best area on the Westside. We know this community supports small businesses, which made us feel confident about opening our first store here. We feel our pizza will be slightly different from other local pizza restaurants. The neighbourhood has plenty of schools, businesses, and churches, which will help our business thrive in the long run,” says Sachin.

Vancouver Pizza Heaven’s customers eagerly awaited the restaurant’s opening.

It’s rewarding to know that almost everyone who has tried our pizza has enjoyed it.

The business is attracting students from local schools, UBC students, other business owners and families who have dropped by to pick up a pizza.

Sachin adds, “Our customers have said we are best on Vancouver’s Westside, and everyone is glad we are in the neighbourhood. We feel proud; we thrive on the quality of the food as everything is prepared in-house. We pay meticulous attention to detail and are committed to using only the freshest and highest-quality ingredients.”

Each pizza embodies a rich tapestry of flavours, heritage, and culinary mastery.

Vancouver Pizza Heaven’s specializes in pan pizzas. The menu includes many classic and fusion pizzas, such as the taco special and butter chicken. Some of their customers’ top picks are the heaven special, bacon cheeseburger, pesto chicken, BBQ chicken, and vegetarian Margherita.

The fresh pizza dough, made in-house daily, produces a fresh, thin, crispy crust.

“We source most of our ingredients from local businesses, including vegetables, flour and other dry goods.”

In addition to pizzas, the menu offers a variety of entrees, from chicken wings and garlic cheese toast to house-made pasta, which is the backbone behind Vancouver Pizza Heaven’s baked lasagna and spaghetti. Vegetarians are not overlooked; you will also find plant-based lasagna and spaghetti. Vegan and gluten-free options are also available.

We are a small local business trying to make space in people’s hearts with our top-quality pizzas and ingredients.

Their customer’s praise is by far their greatest reward to date.

“Since this is our first business, we were a bit nervous about how people would react. We just backed ourselves with the quality and taste, and the result has been kind and positive feedback.”

Vancouver Pizza Heaven offers 10% off all pickup orders. Bundle deals are available on their website.

The holiday season is fast approaching, and the partners are planning some specials. Sachin and Rahul also have ideas for hockey-loving pizza fans to ensure they can enjoy pizza while watching the game at home.
