After the devastating loss, Eve Fay took two years off to stay at home to care for her children, and during that time she became a licensed realtor. She dreamed of reopening On The Go Fashion but waited patiently for the right time and the right location to begin anew.
Eve Fay says, “Things have changed a lot. It’s not easy, but the main thing is we are healthy and this crisis will eventually go away.”
On September 23, 2019, much to the delight of her customers, she reopened the store in its new location on West Boulevard. She says, “They are thrilled and have been spreading the word that On The Go Fashion is back!” She recalls that happy day in September. “It was a rainy day. Just as the business was getting re-established, COVID-19 arrived; the shop shut down in midMarch and did not reopen until June 1.
She and her staff follow the government’s safety guidelines and have implemented operating protocol to keep themselves and their customers’ safe. Currently, people are not permitted to enter the shop if they are feeling unwell. One customer
