Beachside coffee aficionados can rejoice: The new Starbucks is open for business after about a year of construction. Located at 125 E. Granada Blvd., the 2,509-square-foot Starbucks was built on the site of a formerly blighted structure, which was demolished for the project. The coffee chain moved from its storefront in the Granada Plaza Shopping Center down the road. The new building has a drive-thru lane.
A tweet by the city of Ormond Beach announcing the opening stated that the drivethru lane doesn’t have menus up yet. This may not be the only standalone Starbucks with a drive-thru in Ormond Beach, as the Starbucks on West Granada Boulevard could relocate to a new location at Shoppes on Granada, by the upcoming Aldi. Call the store at 673-3930.
