YOUR TOWN OBPD PARTNERS WITH RING The Ormond Beach Police Department is now on the Neighbors app by Ring to provide the community with real-time crime and safety information, according to a city press release. This will allow OBPD to request and receive photos, videos and information from those who download the free app to their smartphones. Residents can text “obfl” to 555888 to download the app and join their neighborhood. App users can customize the geographic area of which they want to receive notifications, view crime and safety posts via a live feed or interactive map, and share text updates, photos and videos, including those taken on Ring’s home security devices.
