BRIEFS

Texas authorities arrest Ormond man in 18-wheeler chase After leading police on a two-anda-half hour chase through multiple Texas counties while driving an 18-wheeler, a 51-year-old Ormond Beach man was arrested and faces two felony charges, according to Texas news reports. The man, Christopher Lubowski, led authorities on a chase covering over 160 miles of road, police reported, according to FOX 26 Houston. Lubowski was employed by the trucking company of the 18-wheeler he was driving. He is believed to have been working a route from Florida when the chase began due to Lubowski’s erratic driving. The chase caused a couple crashes. One person was admitted to the hospital, but “no serious injuries,” according to local Texas authorities.
