Broadcasts in July

WHAT’S NEXT?

BRIAN MCMILLAN EXECUTIVE EDITOR

Those who listen to the “Free For All Friday” radio show will be familiar with the approach: David Ayres and I interview local guests on WNZF, trying to keep things light but informative. On the evenings of July 14, 21 and 28, Ayres and I will team up to host three “Free For All” political forums at the Palm Coast Community Center, inviting candidates of one local race each night: City Council, County Commission and School Board. The public will be invited to watch the forums in person. Get to know the candidates, as well as their views. Ayres, president of Flagler Broadcasting, said WNZF will broadcast the forums live on 94.9 FM radio and wnzf.com. As executive editor of the Palm Coast Observer, I will ensure that detailed coverage of the forums is published online as well as in print. Local civic groups will be invited in advance to help ask questions of the candidates. Readers are also invited to submit questions now: Email editor@ palmcoastobserver.com. We’ll sort through them and make sure we give candidates a chance to share their views on the topics of broadest interest to you. So, candidates and undecided voters, mark your calendars. We hope you’ll join us. More details to follow.
