BRIEFS To stop coronavirus, wash your hands There are no confirmed cases of coronavirus in Flagler Schools, according to a Feb. 27 press release sent by the district. If any cases are confirmed, staff and parents/guardians will be notified. Flagler Schools will continue to follow CDC recommendations to prevent any infection of a respiratory virus, which includes: Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home when sick. The school will work with you on absences related to coronavirus. Cough or sneeze into an elbow or use a tissue.
