SOKKIA 3-D STATION NET2100 CONTROL TERMINAL SDR4E
NET2100: A high-precision, multi-function 3-D station ±(0.8 +1ppm x D*1) mm precision and 0.1 mm minimum resolution in distance measurement; 2" precision and 0.5” minimum resolution in angle measurement *1 D = distance, unit:mm
Unique optical system offering the highest measuring precision in its class Standard deviation within 0.9mm at 100m The NET2100 features SOKKIA's unique optical system created to achieve supreme precision in industrial measurements. Light is emitted from the center of an objective lens and received at the periphery. Using this system, light can be received uniformly from all areas of the target, thereby enabling high-precision measurement regardless of the installation angle or direction of target installation.
Internal memory offering large measurement data storage capacity Permits high-speed data processing and secure storage The NET2100 has a large internal memory(448KB) capable of holding a full 3,000 data points.Multiple Job Files allow a maximum of twenty-four different files for different jobs. Point numbers can be input alphanumerically. Forty feature codes (max. 16 characters each)can be stored in the memory for easy recall for recording. Measurement and recording are performed simultaneously with a single touch of the "AUTO" key.
Large display screen and customizable keyboard The NET2100 features a large (20 characters x 8 lines) nonreflective glass display with backlight. It offers a broad field of view and extensive operating temperature range. Control panels are provided on both the front and rear. Any keyboard layout can be configured, and powerful “softkeys” and "edit-keys" along with the 10keys greatly facilitate data input.
Automatic dual-axis level compensator and collimation for outstanding measurement precision The automatic dual-axis level compensator detects any inclination of the NET2100 from proper perpendicularity in any direction and automatically performs compensation of the horizontal, vertical and sighting axes as necessary. The result is outstanding precision in angle measurement at all times. It is also possible to confirm the inclination of the unit graphically or numerically, to achieve accurate collimation with speed.
Ni-MH battery A nickel-hydrogen battery serves as the power supply. Using a single battery weighing a mere 250g, it is possible to perform measurements for about two hours. The battery can be recharged in only 70 minutes, using the high-speed battery charger provided as standard equipment. As two batteries are provided, it is actually possible to measure for up to four hours. The remaining battery charge is constantly displayed, in four stages. An auto power cut-off function cuts the power supply automatically after 30 minutes idle time. A powerful resume function is also provided which returns the unit to the operating mode before the unit was last turned off. Abundant power supply systems are also available for longer usage needs, including external batteries and an AC/DC converter.
Light weight, compact size Main unit 6.1 kg, Carrying case 3.9kg For optimum mobility when moving and installing the unit, the NET2100 and its carrying case have been designed for lightweight convenience and compact size. The main unit, with battery installed, weighs only 6.1 kg. The carrying case weighs a mere 3.9kg.
Accurate collimation supported by twospeed adjustments (fine/coarse) The NET2100 is provided with a variety of innovative features to ensure accurate collimation, which is indispensable to high-precision measurement. The telescope's horizontal fixed/fine adjustment knobs and focusing knobs, which perform collimation of the target object, are all rubber-coated to prevent slippage. All fine adjustment knobs can be operated at either of two speeds: fine or coarse. The result is accurate collimation with outstanding speed.
Standard programs built in for storage of measurement data using main unit only In addition to standard features for distance and angle measurement, the NET2100 comes with built-in basic programs for the following measurement modes: 3-D Coordinate Measurement, Setting-out, Resection, Azimuth Angle Setting, Offset Measurement, Missing Line Measurement, Remote Elevation Measurement, Angle Repetition.

MONO MOBILE 3-D STATION
Enables reproduction of design data, for comparison with measurement data on site The SDR4E is a large-capacity, versatile control terminal that permits instant, on-site comparison of design data with actual measurement data. It not only offers programs for standard measurement applications, but is available with programs for measurement of design data and position measurement. With both methods, by inputting data on the measuring points in advance, it is possible to reproduce design data coordinate systems at the site. Measurement data can then be stored while comparing the actual measurement data against the design data at each measuring point.
Design data comparison, for easy shape measurement The coordinate system for design data measurement is set automatically by measuring three to six random points for which design data is provided. By measuring the points on the measured object and setting the coordinate system, the X, Y and Z axes are made to coincide with the coordinate system of the design data. Even in cases where the measured object is installed at a tilt or rotated 180°, measurement can be continued by comparing actual measurement data with the design data. This feature is especially useful for measuring the shape of large parts used in structures such as ships and bridges.
Position measurement, for easy positioning and displacement measurement With the position measurement program, the coordinate system is set automatically by measuring two to six random points for which design coordinate data is provided, such as control points used for surveying. The XY plane is always determined to be horizontal, and the Z-axis to coincide with the plumb line. Part positioning and installation can be performed quickly by comparing the measured data against the design data. For tunnel displacement measurement, the initial data can be converted for use in place of design data, for reference each time measurements are taken.
Three coordinate-system setting methods, for increased efficiency The NET2100 offers outstanding mobility. Simply place the object to be measured in any convenient position for measurement, and take measurements of two or three random points. The NET2100 sets the coordinate system automatically to begin measurement. The standard measurement program of the SDR4E Control
Terminal offers three standard methods for setting the coordinate system, to facilitate post-measurement analysis. By offering free selection depending on the conditions of object measurement (location, etc.), post-measurement coordinate conversion can be performed quickly.
Coordinate System Setting Methods 1. The first measuring point is used as the datum point (0,0,0); the second measuring point, as a point in the XZ plane (X1,0,Z1). The coordinate system is then set using these two points in such a way that the Zaxis lies in the perpendicular direction.
2. The first measuring point is used as the datum point (0,0,0); the second measuring point, as a part of the X-axis (X2,0,0); the third point, as a point in the XY plane (X3,Y1,0). The coordinate system is then set by using these three points in such a way that the Z-axis falls directly perpendicular to the XY plane.
Other Convenient Functions
• Connection of coordinate systems (useful for measuring large structures, etc. using a single coordinate system) • Front/rear measurement modes • On-site positioning through use of design data • Versatile data conversion • Outstanding on-site analysis and confirmation
3. The first measuring point is used as the datum point (0,0,0); the second measuring point, as a point on the X-axis (X4,0,0); the third measuring point, as a point in the XZ plane (X5,0,Z2). The coordinate system is then set by using these three points in such a way that the Y-axis falls directly perpendicular to the XZ plane.
Diverse Range of Targets and Professional Programs for Enhanced Measurement Efficiency An impressive lineup of targets to meet a variety of measuring needs The NET2100 is used with Sokkia's specially developed reflective targets set at each measuring point. They feature adhesive tape backing for direct fixing to the measuring object. A full lineup of sizes and shapes is available, from 5 x 5mm to 90 x 90mm, to match the size and shape of the object being measured or the measurement distance. SOKKIA offers targets for all locations and almost any object. Besides sheet type targets, rotary targets are also available for convenient use with datum points or coordinate system connecting points. A two-point target is available for measuring hidden points that cannot be directly collimated.
