How to choose the right chair…
Modern chairs can help you in and out of your seat and make it easy to find your most comfortable seating or reclined position. Choose one that’s right for you. TYPES OF CHAIRS
IT ALL STARTS WITH THE RIGHT FIT!
1. Single motor chairs The cheapest option, these give you a combined backrecline and raised footplate function, plus a lift function.
It’s worth noting down the exact measurements of your ideal-sized chair, to give you the maximum comfort and benefit from your new chair.
2. S ingle motor chairs – 3 way action When reclining, the footboard rises first, then the back reclines. Also standard lift function. 3. Dual motor chairs You can adjust the back independently of the footplate. These give you much more choice of posture. 4. Dual motor chairs with 4th position As 3 above, but when the footplate reaches its maximum height it extends by a further 4”–6”. When in recline mode the legs are raised a little higher than the heart, the medically advised position. 5. Wall-hugger chairs Ideal for smaller rooms. Placed as close as 4” to a wall they can still adjust to a fully reclined position. 6. Tilt-in-space chairs You can tilt forward or backwards while maintaining the position of the knees and hips. Useful for weaker back muscles. 7. Heat and massage functions Enjoy a variety of massage functions for up to 10 areas of your body and with the addition of heat if required. Luxury! 8. Pressure-relieving foam construction Reduce the risk of painful pressure sores with optional pressure relieving foam construction. 9. Infection control Advanced Panvelle Stretch fabrics are Anti-Microbial / Anti–fungal (Anti MRSA) waterproof, breathable, stainresistant and have multi-directional stretch. 10. Terms and Conditions 1. GENERAL a) T hese terms and conditions shall only apply to all orders for the supply of goods in the UK whether by Orange Badge Mobility Services Ltd (hereafter known as The Supplier) or its Authorised Distributor or Agent. b) T his order and these terms and conditions shall constitute the entire contract between The Supplier and The Customer. c) N o variation to these terms and conditions by any employee or agent of The Supplier shall be effective unless notified in writing by a Principal of The Supplier. d) All orders are subject to acceptance by The Supplier. 2. TERMS OF PAYMENT a) I n the case of sales financed by the way of loan from a Finance Company, a deposit of 50% will be required at the discretion of the Finance Company. The goods will be delivered after the credit application has been approved, and any satisfaction notes or documentation required by the Finance Company must be signed. b) In the case of bespoke or special order equipment full payment must be made with the order. c) I n the case of catalogue sales 100% of the order value will be paid on order. d) I n the case of other cash sales a minimum deposit of 50% of the order value must be paid. The balance payable on delivery. 3. GUARANTEES/WARRANTIES a) T he goods purchased are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of delivery against faults arising due to defects in manufacture or materials. Parts replaced under this guarantee will be covered for the balance of the twelve month period. Guarantees/warranties are not insurance backed. b) E XCLUSIONS – In the case of mobility vehicles/wheelchairs the guarantee does not cover tyres, inner tubes, punctures, belts, bulbs, upholstery, motor brushes, fuses or batteries or any other item that may need replacing due to normal wear and tear. c) B atteries specifically are covered by a limited manufacturers guarantee subject to stringent wear and tear clauses. Any claim under this guarantee will only be settled if tests confirm that the fault occurred directly as a result of a defect in materials or manufacture. 4. DELIVERIES The Supplier shall use its best endeavours to deliver within the period specified but will not be responsible for any delay due to situations beyond its control. 5. PASSING OF PROPERTY Ownership of all goods sold shall remain the property of The Supplier until paid for in full. 6. VARIATION TO DESIGN/SPECIFICATION a) T he Supplier reserves the right to vary or alter the design/specification of the goods ordered without notice and at any time prior to delivery. b) The Supplier undertakes not to lower the specification without adjusting the price accordingly. 7. CANCELLATION RIGHTS The Supplier agrees to allow The Customer the right to cancel this order provided that such notice of the intention to cancel is received in writing (at the Suppliers address overleaf), within 14 days of the order being placed. 8 STATUTORY RIGHTS These conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
