A fully accredited organization, we provide high-quality, compassionate hospice care to terminally ill patients. Our palliative care program helps patients with serious illness manage their symptoms. Grief support services are available to any community member coping with the death of a loved one. We are committed to providing care and supportive services to all our neighbors, regardless of financial circumstance.

Medicaid and Medicaid Expansion

540-727-0372 | www.dmas.virginia.gov Medicaid provides health coverage to low-income children and provides assistance for some low-income adults, such as pregnant women, parents of dependent children, blind or disabled individuals, and individuals under hospice care, age 65 or older or other medically needy criteria. Medicaid Expansion provides health coverage for some low-income adults, such as single adults or parents of dependent children and individuals between the ages 19-64 who do not receive Medicare parts A or B and fall under 138% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Medicare Counseling & Information

The Virginia Insurance Counseling Assistance Program (VICAP) is part of a national network of programs that offers free, unbiased, confidential counseling and assistance for people who have Medicare or are about to enroll in Medicare. VICAP counselors are certified and trained to assist individuals in understanding all Medicare benefits. Counselors are available by appointment at 540-825-3100.
