To whom it may concern, Receive cordial and respectful greetings on behalf of the Organizing Committee of the IFMSA Regional Meeting of the Americas - El Salvador 2013. The International Federation of Medical Student´s Associations (IFMSA) is a non-political and not for profitable organization, founded in 1951, that represents around 103 member organizations from over 90 countries across the world and works in close relation with several non-governmental organizations from all over the world. The IFMSA is officially recognized by the UN and the WHO as the International voice for medical students and the Official Forum for Medical Students which includes around 2.1 million students. The mission of IFMSA is to introduce the medical students in subjects of global health, through our professional exchange program, projects and conferences; and it has, as main purpose through its members, to promote and facilitate the international cooperation, the professional and cultural development and the social responsibility in medical students around the world. This is why, every year, the division of IFMSA that represents the Region of the Americas and the Caribbean (PAMSA), gathers in what it’s known as the Regional Meeting, with the principal goal of reinforce the bonds of work and partnership between all the countries that conform it and, to promote the programs and activities in the entire Region. For 2013, EL SALVADOR, C.A., has been selected to be the host country of the IFMSA Regional Meeting of the Americas 2013; so hereby we officially invite all the delegations that form part of PAMSA, so that they can attend to the IFMSA Regional Meeting of the Americas - El Salvador 2013, event that will be held between the days from the 3rd to the 14th of January of 2013, and whose official theme is: Health Systems in America and the Caribbean.
