GRÜNEBURGPARK

Spanning across 29 hectares, Grüneburgpark is made up of large lawns and landscaped patches of shrubbery and trees created in a traditional style inspired by English landscapes. ronged by walkers, runners, cyclists and inline-skaters, the winding paths are ideal to indulge in an outdoor activity of one’s choice. e multitude of spacious lawn areas can be utilised for sports, relaxation and other recreational activities. More than 150 years old, the Palmengarten was originally established thanks to the purchase of the Duke of Nassau’s excellent tropicalplant collection. e collection features an interesting range of ora originating from di erent climate zones across the world. Furthermore, the botanical garden is home to approximately 13,000 plant species and o en hosts exhibitions, concerts and other types of festive events. Guests can explore and learn about di erent ecosystems pertaining to the di ering varieties of ora within a park area of over 22 hectares and 7,000 sqm of conservatory space.

River Embankment

Apple Wine Express

A quirky and fun- lled way to explore the city of Frankfurt, the Apple Wine Express is a multi-coloured street car o ering a unique experience and insight into the buzzing metropolis. e hour-long journey is a cheerful one, consisting of music, pretzels and large glasses of original Frankfurt Apple Wine made by Possmann. e tour is operational on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays; visitors can board the Apple Wine Express from various, designated stops. Old Town

Reconstructed in 2018, the smallest district of Frankfurt situated near the River Main, the Old Town is a charmingly beautiful area with a plethora of activities to indulge in. Rebuilt in 2017 according to the original plans from the seventeenth century, the restored facade of the co ee house dates back to 1619. Many original parts of the building can be found both on the facade and inside the Golden Scale, such as the old grilles, cornerstones, leather wallpaper and intricate carvings which are still a part of the current structure. Indulge in their selection of glorious cakes, artfully brewed co ees and decadent hot chocolate. Don’t forget to try the famous Frankfurt Crown Cake, a sweet speciality traditionally decorated with ruby-red cherries. e cake was inspired by jewels set on the crown worn by kings and emperors of the Holy Roman Empire of German Nations.
