Day 1. Depart UK, Arrive Amsterdam.

Fly from the UK to the iconic city of Amsterdam and be transferred to your luxury ship.

Day 2. Amsterdam.

Choose your activity today. Perhaps cruise the canals on a glass-top boat, or visit Zaanse Schans - known for its traditional Dutch houses and windmills. Tonight, enjoy a Gala Welcome Dinner.

Day 3. Andernach, Koblenz.

Travel to Andernach for an exclusive visit to Namedy Castle, where you’ll enjoy a cocktail party and classical piano recital. Rejoin your ship and travel to Koblenz.

Day 4. Rüdesheim.

Cruise through the Rhine Gorge and dock in Rüdesheim where you can choose your activity. Visit Siegfried’s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum, or take a gondola ride for views over the Rhine Valley.

Day 5. Miltenberg.

Enjoy a guided tour of Miltenberg and wander through cobblestone streets before time at leisure to explore on your own.

Day 6. Würzburg.

Choose between a guided walk to Würzburg’s historic Residential Palace, travel to the fairytale town of Rothenburg, or a visit to a local family-owned farm.

Day 7. Bamberg.

Explore the fascinating Old Town of World Heritage-listed Bamberg with a local expert.

Day 8. Nuremberg.

A historic tour takes you to a selection of World War II sites, including the Reich Party Rally Grounds. Alternatively, walk in the footsteps of King Gustavus Adolphus, with a hike through the Schwarzach Valley.

Day 9. Regensburg.

Join a guided city tour of World Heritagelisted city centre, or take a guided bike ride to Walhalla memorial.

Day 10. Passau, Linz.

There’s several options on offer today. Disembark in Passau and travel to Salzburg, where a city tour takes you to several sights from The Sound of Music. Alternatively, travel to Český Krumlov in the Czech Republic. Or perhaps enjoy free time to explore Passau, then cruise into Austria and on to Linz.

Day 11. Melk, Dürnstein.

Enjoy a guided tour of Melk Abbey. Later, explore the charming village of Dürnstein at leisure, or take a guided bike ride along the river.

Day 12 Vienna.

Choose from a number of options including a tour of Vienna, a visit to Schönbrunn Palace, a guided bike ride, or a trip to Bratislava. Tonight, at Vienna’s City Palace, be welcomed at a lavish cocktail reception. Then attend a private concert of superb arias, an orchestral performance of Mozart and Strauss masterpieces, and music from members of the Mozart Boys’ Choir.

Day 13. Budapest.

Enjoy a relaxing morning sailing through Hungary. Set off on a guided tour of Esztergom, then follow in the footsteps of the Habsburg Empire as you board the Grand Empress steam train, bound for Budapest. See inside some of its ornately adorned carriages from the early 1900s and be treated like royalty with lunch served on board. (Operates between April and September).

Day 14. Budapest.

Discover the iconic sights on a guided tour of Budapest. See Buda Castle, the Royal Palace, Fisherman’s Bastion and much more. Later this afternoon, enjoy time at leisure to explore.

Day 15. Depart Budapest, Arrive UK. Transfer to the airport for your UK return flight.
