• To lose weight, you have to burn up more calories than you eat.
Don’t set yourself up for failure. If you try to reduce the calories, fat and sugar in your diet and also make a drastic change in your activity level, you may be doing just that. Don’t try to make all the changes at once. Take them one at a time. Add one step, then another and so on, until you reach your desired levels of both calorie intake and physical activity.
