MARKET THE CONMUNICATION OF THE HISTORICAL CONTEXT OF THE DIVIDED URBAN SPACE
Urban Design Date: 2021.08-2021.09 Location: Chengdu, Sichuan, China Tutor: Neon, Slea, Ms. Ren The preliminary investigation, plan design and model making of the project were completed by a five-member team, and the drawing making, expression and final display results were individual completed.
Suture the cultural gap of the site in Huaxiba area, continue the cultural characteristics of Chengdu, and extract the concept of Tai Chi from the historical relics of Chengdu Museum throughout the whole site design. Five functional nodes representing the transformation of cultural relics from five important periods are selected together with the five functional areas connecting the site, redefining the concept of the market, making the site into a real interactive market space that simultaneously contains handicrafts, exhibitions and water activities.

People And Buildings Around The Site In 1900, the five chritian churches in Britain, the United State and Canada decided to establish a “large-scale and Scientifically Complete”, higher education institution in western China. The address was set in Chengdu, the political and cultural center of Sichuan. The land here is flat, with Jinjiang River in the north, and scenery is elegant: Because of the construction of West China Union University, it has the title of "Huaxi Dam".
Site Culture
Nantai Road and University Road are divided by 17th Street and Shengli Village, with different architectural functions and styles as well as different audiences. Influenced by the architectural style of the former West China Union University, University Road presents a combination of Chinese and Western architectural forms.
Model Making
The preliminary investigation and program design stages of the project were completed by a team of five people, while the drawing production, expression and final presentation results were completed separately. In this project, the cultural relic I investigated was ”jade combination of star map and Yin-yang Fish Taiji Picture". I consulted and scanned a large number of documents related to the book of changes. The elements extracted by me were related to site planning, so I led to complete the site planning in the subsequent program design stage.

COAST COASTAL CITY COMPREHENSIVE AREA DESIGN Urban Design Date: 2020.11-2021.02 Location: Qinhuangdao, Hebei, China Tutor: Wenbo Zhang The abandoned port will be redeveloped to develop Qinhuangdao's characteristic industries, tourism and manufacturing, and the coastal leisure industry will be connected with Beidaihe and Shanhaiguan to create qinhuangdao's central dynamic area.
Qinhuangdao mainly develops tertiary industry tourism, it’s a famous tourist resort at home and abroad. And the proportion of tertiary industry is 12.8:32.9:54.3.
The age composition of 0-14 years old accounted for 14.25%, 15-64 years old accounted for 76.29%,65 years old and above accounted for 9.46%.
Qinhuangdao has a large tertiary educated population, with 15,0000 university.
Qinhuangdao is located in the northeast of Hebei Province, adjacent to the three big cities of Beijing, Tangshan and Tianjin. It is an important port city in the Bohai Rim region of China approved by The State Council. The design of the functional area is determined according to the three main audience groups of local citizens, local college students and tourists. It is divided into civic activity area, education and science popularization area and cruise ship home port business district.
Qinhuangdao's population has grown by 361,300 in the past two decades, and the ratio of men to women has maintained a balance.
The rainfull and temperature in Qinhuangdao are suitable for leisurevacation. Qinhuangdao has a temperate continental monsoon climate, with an average temperature of 11.1°C, the highest average 24.8°C and the lowest minus 8.9°C. The nnual average precipitation is 602.3 mm, and the annual average relative humidity of the air is 61%. Due to the influence of the ocean, spring is dry with little rain, summer is warm without heatwave, autumn is cool and sunny, and winter is long without cold.
Visualization Qinhuangdao, as a famous coastal tourist resort, historical and cultural city and an important comprehensive port city, receives a large number of domestic and foreign tourists every year. As the central dynamic area of Qinhuangdao, Xigang has unique resources in environment, culture, landscape and tourism. Relying on industrial relics and coastal docks, West Port provides functional areas for civic activities, popular science s t u d y, c o m m e r c i a l o f f i c e a n d tourism. In the re-planning and design of the West port, in order to reduce the transformation cost, increase the operability of the planning scheme. First, the shoreline was recombed, hardening parts of the stage of severe erosion by seawater. Secondly, do a good job in environmental governance, improve environmental carrying capacity. Do design in front of nature first.
FILM STUDIO URBAN RENEWAL OF HISTORICAL AND CULTURAL ZONES Urban Design Date: 2021.03-2021.06 Location: Changchun, Jinlin, China Tutor: Wenbo Zhang Activate Changchun Film Studio, explore the history of film culture represented by the three film studios and the development course of Changchun Film Studio, and inject fresh blood into the site.The planning and design adds interactive exhibition functions to the site. The use of the exhibition square can be changed according to the season or festival, and interactive devices can add different kinds of interest to the site.

Site Location and Condition
COMMUNITY COMPREHENSIVE COMMUNITY DESIGN FOR SINGLE AND DINK ELDERLY Urban Design Date: 2021.9-2021.11 Location: Shanghai, China Tutor: Wenbo Zhang As can be seen from the seventh national Census, the aging of the population is increasing. With the continuous decline of the birth rate, it is expected that by 2050, the elderly population aged 65 and above in China will approach 400 million. The increase in the number of elderly people brings great pressure to the social security system and the elderly service and health support system, but at the same time brings space for development. In April 2019, The State Council issued the Medium-and Long-term Plan for Actively Coping with Population Aging, which pointed out that the elderly should have a multi-level old-age service system based on home care, supported by communities, fully developed institutions and organically combined medical care. Therefore, developing the pension industry will be the only way to relieve social pressure. The strong coverage and high security of community home care will make it play a major role in the future development.
Aging Generation and Facilities for Elders
Ground Floor Plan
Corresponding to the two public service areas in the northeast and southwest, two main pedestrian entrances and exits are set on the east and west sides of the site. Corresponding to the two residential groups in the north and the south, two entrances and exits for vehicles are set on the east and west sides of the site.
A residential cluster consists of two residential buildings connected by an air corridor and a public service building. The second floor of the site consists of an open platform connecting the public service building and the residential building.
The lawn on the first floor follows the flow line of the sidewalk and forms three landscape axes. The hanging garden on the second floor platform is convenient for the elderly to take a walk in the community and breathe fresh air. At the same time, it also leads to the community library, hot spring and community canteen on the first floor.
There are outdoor ping-pong and badminton venues on the ground floor, indoor gym, teahouse, community library and hot spring on the ground floor, hot spring and hanging garden on the platform on the second floor, and various activity rooms on the air corridor on the evennumbered floors, such as: chess and card rooms, kiosks, interest clubs, etc. The elderly outside the community can go to the sports field in the south of the site to walk, run or swim. If you want to go to the hospital, there is a hospital in the southeast of the site.
Four residential buildings in the community are connected by a bridge in pairs. There is an activity room on the bridge, with different functions on each floor. The standard floor of each residential building is the same except for the direction of connection with the footbridge. The standard floor consists of one staircase, two lifts, two suites, four single rooms, as well as communal kitchen, communal dining room, communal living room and communal entertainment space. A total of two types of rooms, bedrooms are facing south, good lighting and ventilation. The suite has a master bedroom (including a balcony) and a secondary bedroom, as well as an entrance and bathroom. The single has a bedroom (including a balcony) and a bathroom. The first and second floors of the residential building are stilted, with a teahouse, gym and hot spring on the ground floor. The second floor has a roof garden and a hot spring.
