Fork Over Love Announces Hazleton Distribution

Fork Over Love will be returning to Hazleton for a meal distribution sponsored by Eye Care Specialists. The distribution will be held in front of Eye Care Specialists at 789 Airport Road, Hazleton, PA on Tuesday, March 24, 2022 at 5PM.

Fork Over Love is a 501(c) (3) organization that purchases hot, chef-made meals from small, independent restaurants and then distributes those meals at locations throughout the community for FREE. Everyone is welcome, from neighbors in need of meals, to those looking to pick up dinner and pay it forward to help support local restaurants.

Fork Over Love has distributed more than 19,000 meals to neighborhoods throughout Luzerne County, paying $190,000 to small, locally owned restaurants to purchase those meals.

Restaurants supported with the upcoming Hazleton distribution include Rocco’s, Rosta’s Café, Mana Farmers Market, and one other local provider yet to be determined.

Meals will be distributed on a first come first serve basis. Please do not arrive early. Food distribution will not begin until the start times listed. You may drive or walk up to receive food. Representatives from PA CareerLink will also be on hand distributing information. It is through the generosity of the community that Fork Over Love is possible.
