MOUNTAIN BIKE & DIRT JUMP CAMP 6 - 10yrs Experience the thrill of mountain biking and dirt jumping in a supervised and controlled environment with Mountain Bike & Dirt Jump Camp! Held at the North Saanich Free Ride Park, this camp not only introduces the fundamentals of mountain biking and dirt jumping, it also covers biking safety, and basic trailside maintenance & repair. Although open to all levels and abilities, at a minimum, riders must have been off training wheels for at least one year, be well balanced & confident on their bikes, and be comfortable using hand breaks. North Saanich Free Ride Bike Park is a volunteer initiative by youth and professional riders together with the formation of the Friends of the North Saanich Mountain Bike Park Society. Paddle your way to becoming a kayak pro! This camp is great for first timers and those looking to develop more skills. Explore different locations on the water while learning safety, terminology, tips and tricks! Program includes all required size appropriate safety equipment, kayak and transportation.
Every camper will complete an introduction course to either kayaking, stand up paddle boarding or canoeing. Each day consists of at least one water activity as well as a land activity (biking, hiking, group challenges, team building, etc.) Campers will go to beaches, waterfalls, and other natural attractions only accessible by water. We will also learn about leadership, teamwork, and environmental stewardship. Campers provide their own lunches (a fridge is available) and a BBQ lunch is provided on the last day.

She has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Victoria and is now studying medicine at the University of BC. Her favourite summer activities are swimming at the lake, hiking local mountains & just playing at the beach with her dog Bindhi!
This is Jessie’s 10th summer with panorama summer camps, and she’s very excited to be returning again! When not working summer camps, Jessie works in the arena, and enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling - just this spring, she spent traveling around several countries in South America, and Cuba.
Ashley is using her fun-loving, positive attitude to plan her best summer camps yet! The games will be zany, the crafts will be creative and she will make sure you have a fantastic experience at Panorama’s summer camps!

This is Stevie’s 6th summer back with Panorama’s summer camps and he has big things planned for this one! Stevie spends much of his free time exploring the outdoors and discovering new adventures that he cannot wait to share. Stevie can also be found working in the many different departments of Panorama Rec; one of his favorites being the Extreme Teen Lounge! When not at the rec centre Stevie is busy putting out fires as a firefighter with the North Saanich Fire Department.

This is Kaley’s 8th summer working with Panorama’s camps and she could not be more excited to be back for another fun-filled summer! Kaley has recently graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree from UVic, and is looking forward to teaching in the fall. During the year she also works as an out of school care leader, skate lesson instructor, teen lounge leader, and helps out with numerous special events at Panorama Recreation Centre. Some of Kaley’s favourite pass times are hiking with her dog and catching up on her piano. This summer she is looking forward to seeing the smiling faces of returning campers and as well meeting all of the new enrolled!
Born and raised in Sidney, Teagan has been lucky enough to grow up with beautiful Vancouver Island as her playground. She received her Bachelors of Education specializing in primary education from the University of Victoria in 2012 and has recently become an early childhood educating assistant. Some of Teagan’s many interests include travel, dance and cooking. She has been fortunate enough to explore some amazing countries and in doing so has gained an appreciation of the many types of food that are found around the world, a few of her favorites being Vietnamese street food and Italian gelato! Teagan is looking forward to getting back into the kitchen in the Kids in the Kitchen camp and excited to see what creations will be made!
