architecture and design museum of dallas Dallas,Tx | comprehensive studio | spring 2013

Downtown Dallas is becoming more urban with the development of new projects that encourage more interactivity within the city. Across the street from the Klyde Warren Park, is the location of the site. The museum accomodates several galleries, cafes, and a theater; providing several circulation patterns throughout the space, to encourage more social interaction for the visitors.

REGENERATIVE CORE Denver, Co | Collaboration Studio | Fall 2013

The studio consisted on the collaboration between architecture, landscape, and interior design students, to develop a project addressing every detail from their particular field. Taken place in Denver, Co, our concept developed from the outdoor activities taken place in the city. We represented these as the core values of Denver. We were able to make this the essential part of the project, maintaining a sustainable approach, which allowed us to create numerous regenerative features within every field.

Cholula, Mex | Topical Studio | Spring 2014 The site chosen for the project is located in an area of Puebla/Cholula that is a potential target for development / re-development/ improvement. Being so close to the University of Puebla I chose to do Student Housing, this specific site has a lot to offer to students as well as the city.

TTU SEVILLE

MIXED USE CENTER Seville, Spain | Study Abroad | Summer 2011

Culturally, in analyzing a seemingly simple space of interaction; such as a tapas bar, we can engage a more unique and complex zone of interaction which in and of itself is a cultural container possessing the nuances that contextualize the urban fabric. Within this contextual amalgam, better understanding of seemingly typical cultural phenomenon such as the slicing of these ornaments of culture, these hanging cured hams; became the motif and driving force that lead to the slicing and dissection of the culture which pleasantly became the catalyst for the design proposal for the new TTU center in Seville –a structure which would exemplify and become a new landmark for Seville

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE During my internship I was able to work with a wide range of projects. Including low-income housing apartments, residential, and institutional projects. My input in this office varied from renderings, shop drawing revisions, site visits, putting together ARB presentations and physical models.

06 KANNER ARCHITECTS HIGH PLACE EAST & WEST High Place is a two-acre community of for-rent and for- sale units – all for low- to moderateincome families. The site is split roughly 50-50 into rental and saleable units with the dividing line a vacated city street called High Place. Although the two projects are distinct in program, they are uniďŹ ed by common materials, building size and arrangement, and the articulation on their public elevations. High Place East features 45 for-sale, threebedroom condominiums among six, three-story buildings surrounding a courtyard. High Place West is a mixture of 47 two- and threebedroom apartments. The for- rent side of the project is supplemented with a one-story community building. The project is broken into a series of buildings rather than two large buildings with central courtyards to give the project a human scale and allow for view corridors and more access to natural light. The site plan provides substantially more common open space than required by code.

06LORCAN O’HERLIHY ARCHITECTS SMB20

UNIT3

SMB20 takes te surrounding fabric of small, family owned commercial shops and single family homes and concentrates it to create an urban form appropriate to the increasing density of West Hollywood. It’s a Mixed-Use project, with Commercial/Retail on the first level and 20 residential units on the upper levels. I contributed in this project by creating new drawings for the DD set using Revit. I was responsible for making sure that it was graphically ready. Another task was that I developed the spec book for this project and with the help of my Project Manager we uploaded this information into the Revit model. 2’ x 2 RECESSED FIXTURE

06 SANTA ANA APARTMENTS The Housing Project takes place in a very commercial area in the city of Santa Ana, CA. The site occupies 87,477 sq ft, leading to a 4 story residential buildingwith 173 units and two levels of parking. Some of the Project Amenities include garden lounges, sculpture garden, fitness facility, resident lounge, pool/spa court, and upper deck patios. I contributed in this project by helping the team meet the deadline for the Site Plan Review. Some of my tasks were refining the floor plans, making sections and elevations, to meet the guidelines of the city of Santa Ana.
