Paolo Farah pursued higher education at some of the best universities in Europe. He earned a J.D. in International and European Law from Paris Ouest La Defense Nanterre University in France. He later completed an LLM in European Legal Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium, in 2003. Paolo further advanced his education by obtaining a dual PhD in International Law from Aix-Marseille University in France and the University of Milan in Italy in 2011

Paolo Davide Farah is a full professor at West Virginia University (WVU), specifically within the John D Rockefeller IV School of Policy and Politics at the Eberly College of Arts and Sciences He teaches public administration, public policy, law, environmental policy, and energy justice courses in this role
