Event Overview: The MMA WORLD EXPO features a variety of events events, including live demonstrations, signing and photograph sessions, educational seminars and an interactive marketplace showcasing products and services for MMA fans and professionals. Celebrity Guests – The 2011 event will feature MMA legends Randy Couture and Renzo Gracie as its main headliners. In addition, there will be a virtual dream team of fighters and trainers including: Jimmy Pedro (current USA Judo Olympic Team Coach), Kru Phil Nurse (Muay Thai trainer), ), Master Ricardo Liborio ((American Top p Team's head instructor), ), Marcelo Garcia (BJJ Legend), and Vitor "Shaolin" Ribiero (Strikeforce Lightweight & BJJ legend). Educational Seminars - The MMA WORLD EXPO continues its goal to educate both practitioners and fans of the sport by offering seminars pertaining to mixed martial arts. Classes cover training, nutrition and treating/preventing injuries are offered as well as panel discussions with key industry players. The exhibit hall is filled with vendors representing virtually all aspects of martial arts products, supplies, services and schools. Show Management Paul Paone, Founder of the MMA WORLD EXPO Merging a successful 15-year career in trade shows and having a passion for Mixed Martial Arts, Paul Paone created the MMA WORLD EXPO as an extension of both his personal and professional life. After a long career managing trade shows for one of the largest event producers in the world (formerly VNU Inc. and now Nielsen Inc.), Paul became an independent show organizer and launched the first technology expo and conference for the meetings and trade show industry, “Meetings Technology Expo.” A former Division-1 athlete, Paul now trains mixed martial arts in New York City.
