Summer Camp Press Week 1 July 2013

With the support and hard work from the YK Pao School community and school staff, the highly‐ anticipated Pao School Summer Camps 2013 has finally begun. Pleasant and joyous atmosphere filled the campus and hallways as children were seen with a smile on their faces whether they are engaging in fun activities, reading a book in the library, or playing with new friends out in the soccer pitch. They are fully enjoying their summer camp experience here at Pao School. This year’s summer camps include Putonghua Summer Camp, Activities Camp, Intensive English Camp, and Overseas Camp. Our primary objective is to achieve a good balance between academic, arts, and sports, and allow the children to express their boundless imagination and potential. Every class from each camp has its own name. Putonghua Camp is separated into Love, Integrity, Balance, Responsibility, and Respect, Intensive English Camp pays tribute to the YK Pao core values and our Activities Camp named its classes based on the 9 major planets in the Milky Way galaxy. All the children assigned to the different “stars” thoroughly decorated their planets making them colorful and astonishing. During lunch, children recharge their batteries by munching on nutritious and delicious lunches consisted of balanced meal, nourishments, and fresh fruits. In addition, snack times are available in the morning and afternoon to keep them replenished, so they can maintain their attention span and overall good health after sports activities. Drinking fountains are seen throughout the campus to help children replenish fluids and stay healthy in the hot summer. We wish every child enjoys a wonderful and meaningful summer camp experience at Pao School.
