VISITOR

The Open Studios event is an informal and friendly way to meet artists and to view their work. Each venue displays a red banner, and the overview map shows all the venues so that you can plan your route. You can look up individual artist’s detail on The Artists pages. Opening days and times vary, so it’s worth checking the specific information of the artists you are particularly interested in. You can expect a warm welcome at all our venues. In some locations the garden will be open or refreshments offered. In many cases you will be visiting someone’s home, and the space and style of display will vary accordingly. Everyone is welcome - we simply ask that you respect the artists’ property and space when you visit. Entry to each venue is free. All the artists will have original work for sale and many will have cards and prints available. Many will also take commissions. There is, of course, absolutely no obligation to buy anything. Visitors are welcome simply to have a look round, to talk to the artists, and to learn about the techniques and materials involved in their work. Please note that the exhibitors do not generally accept credit cards, but cash or cheques with a guarantee card are welcome.

Directions For detailed directions we have provided a Google Maps link for each venue on our website www.paos.org.uk. We also provide a general map indicating the locations of the venues so that you may plan your route.
