1 Extremely rare antique Mount Washington dimensional fruit bouquet with flowers magnum paperweight. A heaping cluster of cobalt blue berries, dusted with shimmering dew and blushing with copper aventurine, is haloed by a colorful fruit and flower wreath. The flowers consist of three double-tiered flowers, one pink with white-stripes, one pink with aventurine stripes and one purple, each centered by a lush and dimensional stamen bundle and crowned by crenulated green leaves. Clusters of diverse red and purple fruit space the blooms perfectly, also adorned by detailed green leaves. The rising berries and stamens give relief to an otherwise flat bouquet, resulting in a festive and dramatic display of abundance. Clear ground. Pictured on the cover of the 1987 PCA Bulletin and pictured and discussed in the 1988 PCA Bulletin, page 18, Fine condition. Diameter 4" $24,000—26,000 2

2 Outstanding and extremely rare antique Clichy three flower bouquet paperweight. A stunning trio of clematis blooms, double-tiered and each punctuated at its nexus by a unique complex cane, is achieved with gathered leafy stems tied by a delicate pink ribbon. One flower is shaded-pink, another is white with blue-striped petals and the third is made of the striking Clichy purple color. Each flower is accompanied by a corresponding companion bud with a few green sepals. Clear ground. “Any flat bouquet from Clichy would be considered rare, for while the variety of designs is good, the actual number of these weights made was small.” —The Dictionary of Glass Paperweights. Pictured as figure 37(a) at the bottom right inside cover of Antique Glass Paperweights from France. Diameter 2 15/16" $7,500—10,000 2
