Para/Site Art Space presents Chilai Howard Cheng’s video work Stiffen Water. The artist mesmerizes the audiences with his meticulous manipulation of the ever-changing kinetics and sound of water. As the consciousness and unconsciousness ebb and flow along with the unsynchronized audiovisual and stills of water drips and gushes, the credibility of seeing and hearing in human being’s perception is being questioned. Chilai Howard Cheng received his education in School of Creative Media and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, specializing in creative thinking and production with new media. He has been showcased in international art festivals. His work Doors is included in Para/Site Art Space’s videoprogramme This Is Hong Kong, which has already made its trip to Barcelona, Seoul and Hamburg. http://www.chilaihoward.com ÂśSĂˆ &½½%T%oDgÇj 4iv š3iv PÂĽgpĂˆ &½½%T%o'gš;o ;g FĂ†Ăˆ Nšf#„|ŸŽĂ‡ Ă„y Š@IÂą# Â? t œžMĂˆ ²lÂ?
