Logo, Concept and Hierarchy HIERARCHY HEAD ARCHITECT
SENIOR ARCHITECT -When it comes to the space my first thought is, space has to be such that one enters and feels peaceful because in some places it feels like just getting out of the space without any reason. According to me at some point this all depended on the space atmosphere, colours, people and surroundings. -I want my space to be pretty much interactive. I want to keep its environment like people are still working in college. Type of seating, freedom and working positions matters a lot. -As studio name is ‘7 PETALS’, I would like to incorporate some elements and colours of nature. The logo is lotus which itself shows nature and symbolizes rebirth. Each and every element has to be different which represents some thought behind it’s design and form. -As a designer we have to work for 13-14 hrs a day, so the environment takes an important role in that. We always work on our laptop and digital screens which is not very good for eyes, so I wanted to keep more greenery in the space for aesthetics as well as for health. -As keeping in my mind covid protocols, the desk has to be interactive as well as private so that no one can touch others’ belongings. -Minimalistic designs with great and meaningful outcomes. Use of lights also creates an important role in the work atmosphere, so no use of very dim lights. -The space has to look simple as well as rich. Site study
SITE LOCATION: Ambli BRT Road, Iscon Crossroads, Gujarat 380059 At Privilon, both the towers have exposed corners with solid walls. They are long horizontal volumes that face away from each other in order to avoid any relationship. The sleeve has a semi-transparent skin that creates a continuous 22 storeyed façade that becomes the prime attraction of a property of this scale. The skybridges, podium level cafe, and stepped green terraces on different levels fall in line with the philosophy of Privilon that aims to create open spaces that are conducive to proactive minds at work.
A mixed use development, Privilon takes on a modern and orthogonal aesthetic in its site planning
and architecture. In spite of having to create enclosures where businesses can thrive, it takes up the challenge of creating an openness that defines the project. And what you get is the view, the light and the feeling of being out in Privilon that relieves one from the stress of being enclosed. The glazing, the glass facades, and the use of skylights to create spatial demarcations are a tribute to this philosophy of openness that defines Privilon.
