BLACK SHEEP BREWERY
Discover the history behind the Yorkshire Black Sheep Brewery and its founder. During the daily tours you will experience how they select the ingredients that produce the distinctive tastes and aroma of their awardwinning beers, as well as learning about the science behind the brewing process and why they still use Yorkshire Square Fermenting Vessels which were developed over 200 years ago.
With plenty to do and see in North Yorkshire from rambling through the countryside to visiting sites of historical importance you will never be short of things to do. It has some of the finest and freshest cuisine in the UK and a huge variety of arts from budding performers to incredible theatres. The area has a magnetic pull on all who visit drawing them back again and again. This outstanding area of limestone pavements, upland hill farms and flowerrich hay meadows provide a marvellous setting for walking, cycling or just enjoying the great outdoors. You might even remember it from your school Geography trips! The National Nature Reserve is home to a unique community of rare plants and animals - the bird hide in particular is worth a visit.

Bolton Abbey is in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales on the banks of the River Wharfe. With just under 30,000 acres of beautiful countryside, over 80 miles of footpaths and ample space to run around and enjoy the fresh air, there is something for all ages. Explore the ruins of the Priory and discover a landscape full of history and legend or wander along the riverside, woodland and moorland paths.

No. 5 restaurant is part of the Grassington House Hotel and offers a dining area, bar area and sunny terrace for you to enjoy their delicious food. They offer all the traditional Yorkshire favourites with a contemporary twist and seasonal dishes served with imagination, including their very own hand-reared rare breed pork. Take your pick from a coffee and a cake and light bites through to a full a la carte menu.
The Bolton Arms, run by Bill and Janet, is a homely, friendly, Yorkshire pub open seven days a week and set in the beautiful Wensleydale countryside. There’s a delicious choice of homemade food served throughout the day – from light bites to cakes and scones with a cuppa. You can also enjoy a main meal in either the relaxed lounge bar area or the more formal dining room.
FOUNTAINS ABBEY AND STUDLEY ROYAL WATER GARDEN
Ancient abbey ruins and an aweinspiring water garden at this World Heritage Site. For centuries people have been drawn to this inspiring place. Green lawns stretch down to the riverside, a perfect spot for a picnic. Riverside paths lead to the deer park, home to Red, Fallow and Sika deer. There are miles of footpaths and trails for you to explore in this beautiful landscape. Explore the woodland High Ride path through the estate or wander through Seven Bridges Valley. Wherever you choose to go, grab your boots now and stretch your legs!

The changes which were made has bought the park up to its 5-star standards in terms of the looks and facilities which included beautifully maintained gardens. Credit is due to all of the Littondale staff and the management team in York who have added to much value not just to our leisure time, but for all the owners here at Littondale. Our Grandchildren now visit us and the pleasure and enjoyment of the countryside has been encouraged whilst being on the park especially with the other children. Mr & Mrs Fieldhouse - Littondale owners. Since Park Leisure took over Littondale, we have seen so many changes, which have enhanced our experience on park. The appearance of Littondale is outstanding and the staff will always go out of their way to help you.
