Donnelly District camping Take a trip to Western Australia’s southern forest region and you’ll see some of the most magnificent forest country and awesome coastline in the world. There is a range of camping options in the Donnelly District. Choose from campsites hidden among the forest in Warren National Park, beside a stream at Carey Brook or ‘camp’ in style at Yeagarup Hut.

Where is it? The Donnelly District is in the heart of the south-west. The main towns within the district are Manjimup, Pemberton and Northcliffe. Facilities

Fees

It takes approximately 3.5 hours to get to Manjimup from Perth. Pemberton is another 30 minutes further.

National park entry fees apply. Camping fees apply at most sites. These fees contribute to the provision and maintenance of recreation facilities and visitor services throughout the parks. Contact DEC at Pemberton or refer to the Park visitor fees brochure, available from DEC for more information. Visitors need to book to use Yeagarup Hut. Contact the Donnelly District for details.

What to do in the Donnelly District Bushwalking, camping, fishing, canoeing, boating, beachcombing, swimming, sight seeing, tree climbing, fourwheel driving, scenic driving and much more. If you are heading to the coast, refer to the Going to the coast in D’Entrecasteaux National Park brochure, available from DEC.

Wood fires are only permitted in fire rings except during the prohibited season when no fires are allowed. Please bring your own firewood and don’t collect it from the surrounding national park. Portable gas stoves are recommended.

Best season All year but it can get a bit wet in winter. Generally, you can pick and choose the campsite that suits you best but some sites become crowded on long weekends and during school holidays. Greens Island
