The Express Trolley allows a single technician to easily and efficiently conduct an express service. It is designed to reduce wasted movement in the servicing process as well as productivity-sapping fatigue by removing the need for manual handling of heavy vehicle wheels. The big gains in efficiency come from ensuring all hand and air tools are arranged systematically and ergonomically. It makes locating the right tool an automatic process for the technician. It avoids the considerable time that can be wasted going to a workbench to check several possible locations for specific tools or to a service point for access to air lines.

The Unipac Express Service Trolley is built from stainless steel and top-quality parts to ensure reliability and longevity. The design incorporates a pneumatic wheel lifter, brake bleeder, four air tool lines, dedicated hand tool slots and accessory storage. The trolley comes with a 48-month warranty and is available with or without the recommended tool kit.

The Unipac Express Service Trolley is a key component in ‘express service’ which aims to streamline vehicle maintenance procedures through efficiency gains. This provides a faster service, while maintaining (or more likely increasing) quality standards and job satisfaction, and reducing technician down time.

It increases workshop throughput for no increase in overheads, which results in an increased return. By using service bays more efficiently through applying express principles, workshops can avoid the need to increase the overall size of the workshop to cater for the increased volume which could be a huge additional cost-saving.

These efficiency measures can be amplified by reducing technician downtime through overlapping tasks, and reducing time on task by keeping the ultimate objective in mind at all times — making the work bay more productive.

The system is designed to improve servicing efficiency, and customers have reported gains ranging from 138 per cent to 173 per cent, while also increasing safety and customer convenience.
